A text box to add or edit the unique identifier of the Certification record. This defaults to blank but is required for all records. If missing, the record will not be saved. The Certification must be unique, otherwise the message "Duplicate Certifications are not allowed." will be displayed on Save. This field is always editable and must be <= 25 characters.

Linked Database Field: ERPx_IMCertification.Certification 

A text box to add or edit a number associated with the Certification. This defaults to blank, is not required, and duplicate values are allowed. This does not drive functionality but can be included on reports. This field is always editable and must be <= 50 characters.

Linked Database Field: ERPx_IMCertification.CertificationNumber 

The A text box to add an additional comment for the Certification. This defaults to blank, is not required, and duplicate values are allowed. This field is always editable and must be <= 250 characters.

Linked Database Field: ERPx_IMCertification.Comment

A Yes/No field used to identify if the Certification is Inactive. If set to 'Yes' then the record is "Inactive" and will not be included in look-ups. Setting this to Inactive only prevents the record from being manually assigned to new transactions or master files, it does not prevent transactions containing this value to be posted. 'No' values display as blank in the grid. This value is always editable.  

Linked Database Field: ERPx_IMCertification.IsInactive

A single-select standard lookup to identify how the Certification is assigned. This defaults to "Item & Site" and is not editable after the initial Save. The available options include:

• Item & Site: These certifications will be auto-assigned to every production batch where BOTH the 'Item' and 'Production Batch Site' are open to the Certification. The Certification will be added as an available column on the Item List View, Site List View, and all Lot allocation and inquires. The Certification will be added to the list of Certifications shown on the 'Certifications' tab on both the Item and Site record views.
• Item Only: These certifications will be auto-assigned to every production batch where the 'Item' is open to the Certification. The Certification will be added as an available column on the Item List View and all Lot allocation and inquires. The Certification will be added to the list of Certifications shown on the 'Certifications' tab on the Item record view.
• Site Only: These certifications will be auto-assigned to every production batch where the 'Production Batch Site' is open to the Certification. The Certification will be added as an available column on the Site List View, and all Lot allocation and inquires. The Certification will be added to the list of Certifications shown on the 'Certifications' tab on the Site record view.

 Helpful hints:

1. Certifications are attached to 'Production Batches' so they are only available to Items that are Lot Tracked.
2. 'Active' Certifications can be manually assigned to any Lot, even Lots with Production Batches that have 'Items' and 'Production Batch Sites' that are not open to the Certification.
3. Lots containing Production Batches with assigned Certifications will retain those Certifications when transferred to other Sites, even if those Sites are not open to the Certification.

This lookup contains all the values in the IMCertificationType Enumeration Class.
