CheckboxUsed to select one or more records for delete or mass update.
Email

A text box to add/edit an email address associated with the Salesperson record. This defaults to blank for new records and is not required. This field is always editable and duplicate values are allowed. This field supports multiple email addresses if they are separated by a " ; ". This field must be <= 200 characters. 

This is informational only and is not visible in look ups on transactions and other master files. There are no validations on this page to ensure this data is a properly formatted email address or that the email address is valid.

Inactive 

A Yes/No field used to identify if the Salesperson is Inactive. If set to 'Yes' then the record is "Inactive" and will not be included in look-ups. Setting this to Inactive only prevents the record from being manually assigned to new transactions or master files, it does not affect records that already contain this value. 'No' values display as blank in the grid. This value is always editable.

Name

A text box to add or edit the full name of the Salesperson. This defaults to blank for new records and is required. If missing, the message "Must supply a Salesperson ID and Name" will be displayed on Save. This value is always editable and does not need to be unique. This value must be <= 50 characters.

Linked Database Field: ERPx_SOSalesperson.SalespersonName

Salesperson ID

A text box to assign an ID for the Salesperson. This defaults to blank for new records and is required. If missing, the message "Must supply a Salesperson ID and Name" will be displayed on Save. This value must be unique, otherwise the message "Duplicate Salesperson ID’s are not allowed." will be displayed on Save. This field is always editable and must be <= 15 characters.

Type

A single select field that specifies the Type of Salesperson. This defaults to “Outside Sales” and is required. This field is always editable.

This lookup contains all the values in the SOSalespersonType Enumeration Class.
