Transaction History - Lot Inquiry

The purpose of this inquiry is to From the inquiry, users may open the corresponding inventory transaction Record View or Sales Order Record View. This inquiry displays transactions that have been posted. This inquiry can be accessed from both the Inquiries page or from the Item Balances Inquiry and Lot Balances Inquiry List Views by selecting a one or more line item(s) and clicking "View Lot History" toolbar icon.

 This inquiry also contains columns for each Attribute that is set up for the 'Items' attribute type, 'Production Batches' attribute type, and the 'Warehouse Lots' attribute type. Additionally, this inquiry also contains columns for each Lot Certification with a certification 'Type' of "Item & Site". Attributes and Lot Certifications are not automatically included in the default view. Because these attributes and lot certifications are user defined, they are not included in the help documentation.

This lookup contains the values "Voids" and "Beginning Balances".

Item

This is a multi-select standard lookup that is not required to return results. It defaults as blank.

The lookup contains a list of all Items in the Items master file.

Item Class

This is a multi-select standard lookup that is not required to return results. It defaults as blank.

The lookup contains a list of all Item Classes.

Lot Owner

 This is a multi-select standard lookup that is not required to return results. It defaults as blank.

The lookup contains a list of all Lot Owners.

Site

This is a multi-select standard lookup that is not required to return results. It defaults as blank.

The lookup contains a list of all active Sites.

Trans Class

This is a multi-select standard lookup that is not required to return results. It defaults as blank.

The lookup contains a list of all Transaction Classes, SO Shipment and SO Return.

Trans Date

This is a date range control that allows users to select a single date or a range of dates. This is not required to return results and defaults with a date range of the past 30 days.

Trans Type

This is a multi-select standard lookup that is not required to return results. It defaults as blank.

The lookup contains the following options:

  • 01: Receipt

  • 02: Production Input

  • 03: Production Output

  • 04: Transfer Outbound (1 Part)

  • 05: Transfer Receipt (1 Part)

  • 06: Transfer Outbound (2 Part)

  • 07: Transfer Receipt (2 Part)

  • 08: SO Shipment

  • 09: SO Return

  • 10: Adjustment

  • LV: Warehouse Lot - Opens the Warehouse Lot List View, in a new tab, filtered for the selected record's Warehouse Lot. 

  • RV: Item - Opens the Item Record View, in a new tab, for a selected Item. 

  • RV Order - Opens the Sales Order Record View, in a new tab, for a selected record with a Transaction Type of: SO Shipment or SO Return.

Batch Comment

 This can be edited from the 'Batch Comment' field on the Properties tab of the Production Batch Record View.

Batch Date

This can be edited from the 'Batch Date' field on the Properties tab of the Production Batch Record View.

Batch Site ID

This can be edited from the 'Batch Site ID' field on the Properties tab of the Production Batch Record View.

BOL

Displays the BOL ID entered on the transaction. This field is specific to SO Shipments and Inventory Transfers. This can be edited from the 'BOL' field on the 'Shipments Tab of the Sales Order Record View (for SO Shipments) or the 'Home' tab of the Transfer Transaction Record View (for Transfers) while the transactions are in a Status of New.

Corrected From

Displays the Transaction ID of the source transaction that was corrected. This field only displays a value if the transaction has been corrected. This is not editable.

Cost Amount

Displays the extended cost amount for the Lot.  This is calculated as Cost Quantity * Cost Rate and is not editable.

GL Date

This can be edited from the 'GL Date' field on the 'Properties' tab of the Transaction Record View while the transaction is in a Status of New.

Item Class ID

 This can be edited from the 'Class ID' property on the 'Properties' tab of the Item Class Record View.

Item Description

Identifies the Description of the Item. This comes from and be edited from the 'Item Description' field on the 'Properties' tab of the Item record view.

Item ID

Identifies the unique identifier of the Item. This comes from and be edited from the 'Item ID' field on the 'Properties' tab of the Item record view.

Item: Description

 These fields can be edited from the ‘Item ID’ and 'Item Description' fields on the 'Properties' tab of the Item Record View.

Owner

 This can be edited from the 'Owner' field on the Items grid of the Transaction Record View while the transaction is in a Status of New.

Market Amount

Displays the extended Market amount for the Lot.  This is calculated as Cost Quantity * Market Rate and is not editable.

Production Batch

 Clicking on the link opens the Production Batch Record View. This can be edited from the 'Production Batch' field on the Properties tab of the Production Batch Record View. 

Database Field: ERPx_IMProductionLot.ProductionLotID

Quantity

Displays the unit or weight quantity of the item, in the default reporting UOM. This can be edited from the 'Units' field or 'Weight' field of a line item on the Items grid of the Transaction Record View while the transaction is in a Status of New. This can also be edited from the 'Units' field or 'Weight' field of a line item on the Items grid of the Sales Order Record View while the transaction is in a Status of New. Once the transaction is no longer in a Status of New, this cannot be edited.

Note: For companies that want unposted Sales Orders to update the On Hand balances as soon as they are marked as Shipped, they can set the "Include Shipped & Approved Sales Orders in On Hand balances" Inventory Preference to "Yes".

Reference

This can be edited from the 'Reference' field of the 'Home' tab of the Transaction Record View while the transaction is in a Status of New.

Sale Price

Identifies the price used on the corresponding Sales transaction for the line item. This can be edited from the ‘Price’ field of the Sales Transaction line item while the transaction is in a status less than Approved. This is only applicable for Sales Shipments and Sales Returns, it will be blank for all other Trans Types.

Site ID

Displays the Site ID for the Site where the transaction occurred. This comes from the 'Site' field on the 'Home' tab of the Transaction Record View. This is not editable after the transaction has been saved.

Trans Date

 This can be edited from the 'GL Date' field on the 'Shipments Tab of the Sales Order Record View (for SO Shipments), from the 'Date' field on the 'Home' tab of the Transaction Record View for Adjustment, Production and Receipt transactions while the transaction is in a Status of New, and from the 'Transferred On' field on the 'Home' tab of the Transaction Record View for a Transfer transactions while the transaction is in a Status of New.  

Database Field: ERPh_IMTransactionHeader.TransactionDate

Transaction ID

This value is system generated when the transaction is created and is not editable.

Transaction Received From

Identifies the name of the Vendor, Fisherman, or Grower that was the source for the Receipt. This can be edited from the 'Rec. From' header field on the Inventory Receipt record view before the transaction is posted.

Transaction Type

This comes from the 'Transaction Type' property on the 'Properties' tab of the Transaction Class Record View for the associated transaction. This is not editable after the Transaction Class has been saved.

The SO Shipment and SO Return transaction types only displays when the corresponding invoice is posted.

Units UOM

 This field can be edited from the 'Inventory Unit UOM' property on the 'Properties' tab of the Item Record View.

This can be edited from the 'Units' field of the line item in the Items grid on the Transaction Record View while the transaction is in a Status of New.

UOM

 This can be edited from the 'Default Reporting UOM' property on the 'Properties' tab of the Item Record View.

UOM Schedule

This field comes from the 'UOM Schedule' property on the 'Properties' tab of the Item Record View and is not editable.

Void Date

Displays the date the transaction was voided. This field comes from the 'Void/Correct GL Date' field for a transaction line on the Transaction More Actions Record View and is not editable after the void action has been processed.

Warehouse Lot

 This value defaults from the 'Warehouse Lot' value specified on the Transaction Record View that created the Inventory Lot. This can be edited from the 'Warehouse Lot' field on the Warehouse Lots List View.

Weight

This can be edited from the 'Weight' field of the line item in the Items grid on the Transaction Record View while the transaction is in a Status of New.
