The purpose of the Attribute Classes List View is to add, edit, and review all the Attribute Classes, by Attribute Type. From here, users can Attribute Classes are assigned to master files to control which Attributes are visible, and/or required, to the master file record. The purpose of this page is to add, edit, and remove Attribute Classes. Attribute Classes are assigned to Master File records and control which Attributes are visible to the master file record, Attribute Class values that can be assigned to Customers, Customer Addresses, Items, Production Batches, Quality Tests, Vendors, Fishermen, Tenders, and Loans.

Attribute Class

A text box to add / edit Attribute Class Values. Attribute Classes are assigned to Master File records and control which Attributes are visible to the master file record. This defaults to blank, is always editable, is always required, and must be <= 50 characters. 

Linked Database Field: ERPx_MFAttributeClass.ClassDescription.

Attribute Type

A single-select lookup to associates the Attribute Class to the correct master file. This defaults to blank but is required. The lookup contains a blank value, the current assigned value, and a list of all the 'AttributeTypes' with an AttributeCategoryEN of 1 (Master File) which includes the following values: 

  • Customer Address Attribute Class
  • Customer Attribute Class
  • Item Attribute Class
  • Production Batch Attribute Class
  • Quality Test Class
  • Vendor Attribute Class
