The GL Account Classes are used to classify one or more GL Accounts into a group with other similar behaving accounts. For example, you may have several revenue accounts that are all classified as "Sales" Accounts. The purpose of the GL Account Class List View is to show, add, and edit all the options for categorizing GL Accounts. From here, users can add new records and edit or delete existing records. GL Account Classes are used exclusively for grouping data on financial reports and have no other functionality in the software.
