Chill Types define the methods used to refrigerate a catch. They are assigned to Fish Tickets and can be used in the calculation of Ticket Taxes and Ticket Premiums. The purpose of the Chill Type List Seasons are used to further classify when Fish Tickets were landed. If a Fishery ran for the summer but within that summer you needed to group tickets in 10 day batches (for reporting, pricing, or assigning of Premiums) you could use Seasons. The Season can be manually edited on a Fish Ticket or can be set to one or more unposted tickets using the Ticket Mass Update feature. Seasons can also be used to select tickets that you need to reprice.

The purpose of the Seasons  List View is to manage all the available codes and descriptions. This master file comes pre-loaded with the Chill Types as assigned by the Alaska department of Fish & Game. From values. From here, users can add new records, edit ID's and Descriptions names of existing records, delete records, and activate/inactivate records
