Inventory Sales Price Lists are used to store an insured or declared value for items on Transfer Sales transactions. These price lists can be attached to (Transfer) Sales Transaction Classes so that new transfer items orders inherit prices or can be manually changed/assigned. The purpose of this page is to add, edit, and remove these records.

Currency

Identifies the Currency that the Prices on the Price List are recorded. This defaults to the company's Currencybut can be overwritten prior to Save. Currency is always required. If not assigned, the message "Currency is required." will be displayed on Save. Once the record has been created, this field is not longer editable.

This lookup contains a blank value, the current assigned value, and a list of all the 'Active' Currencies that are available for the company

Description

A text box to add/edit the name (long description) of the Price List. This defaults to blank but is required for all records and must be <= 50 characters. If missing, the message "Description is required." will be displayed on Save. The description does not have to be unique.

Freight Included

For Sales Order Price Lists, this is a Yes/No field used to identify if the Prices Include Freight Cost.  This value is editable only for Sales Order Price Lists. 

For Quick Sale Price Lists, this is a system assigned value that is always set to no. This is never editable for Quick Sale Price Lists.

'No' values display as blank in the grid.

Inactive

The value from the 'Inactive' property. If set to 'Yes' then the record is "Inactive" and will not be included in look-ups for transactions or other master files. If set to 'No' then the record is "Active" and can be freely used. 'No' values display as blank in the grid. This value is always editable.

Price List

A hyperlink that shows the value of the 'Price List' property on the the Price List record. Clicking on the link opens the record view for the selected Price List.

This defaults to blank for new records and is required and must be <= 25 characters. If not assigned, the message "Price List is required." will be displayed on Save. This value must be unique across all Price Lists in the same Price List Class. If not unique, the message "Duplicate Price List ID's are not allowed." will be displayed on Save. This field is always editable from the record view.

The Price List is used as a short description and unique identifier of the Sales account.

Linked Database Field: ERPx_MFPriceListHeader.PriceListID

Price List Class

Identifies the type of transactions that each Price List applied to. This is always set to "Sales Order" or "Quick Sale" depending on the user selection for Sales Price Lists and is never editable. 

This lookup contains all the values in the MFPriceListClass Enumeration Class with an Enumeration Value of 1 or 4.

Type

Identifies the type of each Price List. This is a system assigned value that is always set to 'Standard' for a Quick Sale Price List and is never editable. This lookup contains all the values in the MFPriceListType Enumeration Class with an Enumeration Value of 1. For a Sales Order Price List, this lookup contains all the values in the MFPriceListType Enumeration Class with an Enumeration Value of 1, 2 or 3. Once the Price List record has been created, this field is no longer editable.
