The On Hold balance reflects the quantity of inventory that is physically in the facility but has been placed on hold. On Hold balances are updated when Lots Hold Codes are placed on hold and/or taken off holdand removed from Lots. On Hold balances are part of do impact the Available Balance calculation.

Available Balance = (On Hand) - (On Hold) - (Committed) - Allocated (Allocated) 

On Hold Lots cannot be allocated

Only Lot Tracked Items can be placed on Hold
