The purpose of the (List View Name) List View is to show (describe what is shown). From here, users can (list the functions that can be done or launched from here). Master file records are used to support transactions and other master files.Software Version: YYYY.MM.DD The purpose of the Currency Exchanges List View is to show all the Currency Exchange Tables that are available within the system and see which company they are associated with. From here, users can add, edit, or delete exchange tables but the most common function is to update exchange rates. Exchange Tables are only needed for companies that deal with foreign currencies and they are used on transactions and transaction journal entries that a foreign currency.

(Field Name) ID

The unique identifier of the (what type of record is this). This default to blank but is required for all records, must be unique (what must it be unique by), and must be <= 25 characters.

Company

Displays the names of all the Companies that are assigned to use this exchange rate table. This table can only be used by the companies that it is assigned to. This field is always editable from the Currency Exchanges Record View.

Exchange Table

Displays the name associated with the Exchange Table ID. This is required for all records but does not need to be unique (what must it be unique by) (and defaults from or is calculated by)be unique. This field is always editable from the Currency Exchanges Record View

A Yes/No field used to identify if the record is Inactive. If set to 'Yes' then the record is "Inactive" and will not be included in look-ups for transactions or other master files. If set to 'No' then the record is "Active" and can be freely used ('No' values display as blank in the grid). This value is always editable. Linked

Exchange Table ID

Displays the unique identifier of the Exchange Table record. This field is only editable from the Currency Exchanges Record View for a new record before the initial Save, after Save it is disabled.

ExchangeID 

CheckboxUsed to select one or more records.
Date FieldThe date of the (what is the date for) that was created by the transaction. Linked Database Field: ERPx_#####.#####.
HyperlinkA hyperlink show the (Field Name) of the transaction. Clicking on the link opens the record view of the transaction. This field is not editable. Linked Database Field: ERPx_#####.#####.
Lookup (from an Enumeration)

A single-select standard lookup to select (describe what is being selected). This defaults to (Default Value) and is (always, never, or conditionally) required. If not assigned, the message "(what message is displayed)" will be displayed. This field is (always, never, or conditionally) enabledLinked Database Field: ERPx_#####.#####.

This lookup contains all the values in the (EnumerationClassName) Enumeration Class.

A (single-select standard, single select load on demand, or multi-select) lookup to select (describe what is being selected). This defaults to (Default Value) and is (always, never, or conditionally) required. If not assigned, the message "(what message is displayed)" will be displayed. This field is (always, never, or conditionally) enabledLinked Database Field: ERPx_#####.#####

This lookup contains a blank value, the current assigned value, and a list of all the 'Active' (what does it include).

Text Field

The [Describe what the field shows] (formatted as …(if applicable)). This is only populated for (what is it populated for...) and (defaults from or is calculated by…). This column has a grand total at the bottom. The values comes from the (Enumeration Class) Enumeration. Linked Database Field: ERPx_#####.#####.

Yes/No Lookup

A Yes/No lookup to identify whether or not the feature is turned on. The value defaults to "Yes" but can be changed at anytime.

Displays the Currency that the Currency Exchange Table is converting from.  This field is only editable from the Currency Exchanges Record View for a new record before the initial Save, after Save it is disabled.

To Currency

Displays the Currency that the Currency Exchange Table is converting to.  This field is only editable from the Currency Exchanges Record View for a new record before the initial Save, after Save it is disabled.

Sequence

Identifies the sequence the Exchange tables are displayed when there is more than one applicable Exchange Table that can be assigned. For example, if there is more than one Exchange Table that converts from CAD to USD, the system will auto assign the one with the lowest sequence number.
