(Master File Name)'s are (explain what these are and what their purpose is). They are used in the (identify each functional area these are used in) Functional Area(s) (to support other master files, to support transactions, to support other master files and transactions.). The purpose of this page is to add, edit, remove, and activate/inactive these records.Software Version: 2019.MM.DD The purpose of the Stat Areas page is to manage all the available areas that define where fish were caught. This master file comes pre-loaded with the Stat Areas as assigned by the Alaska department of Fish & Game (ADF&G). Stat Areas are required on fish tickets that fall under the jurisdiction of the ADF&G. Stat Areas are used on Tickets, Fish Ticket Taxes, and Fish Ticket Premiums. From here, users can add new records, edit ID's and Descriptions of existing records, and activate/inactivate records.
Stat Areas can be manually managed or can be auto-added as Fish Tickets are imported from eLandings provided the (Fish) Ticket Class is configured to 'Allow import of Missing or Inactive Stat Areas'.
