The Production Order Inquiry displays Open, Released and Closed Production Order transaction line items. From this page, users may view and generate an Excel file of historical Production Order transaction line itemsIn addition, the inquiry selection can be refined using the Inquiry Criteria fields.

  • Search: A text box that to specify a Production Order ID. This defaults as blank.
  • Production Order Start Date From / Through: A date picker to specify the 'Planned Start' date field. This defaults to [Current Date] - 1 month. If entered, this must be in a valid date format. A blank assumes all dates.
  • Production Order End Date From / Through: A date picker to specify the 'Planned End' date field. This defaults to blank. If entered, this must be in a valid date format. A blank assumes all dates.
  • Production Order Status: A multi-select standard lookup to specify one or more Statuses. This defaults to "All items checked". Options include: Open, Released and Closed.
  • Production Order Site: A multi-select standard lookup to specify one or more Sites. This defaults to "All items checked". Options include list of all the 'Active' Inventory Sites.

The Statuses that apply to transactions in this List View include:

Open: This is the default Status for all new Production Order transactions. While in the Status of 'Open', all editable fields are open for edit.

Released: Users may set this status when the Production Order transaction is ready to be released to production. While in the Status of 'Released', all editable fields are open for edit.

Closed: Users may set this status once the associated Production transaction has been set to a status of "Ready to Post". Else, the message "Production Order [Prod Order ID] can not be closed because Production Transaction(s) [List of Production Transaction IDs] are not posted." will be displayed on Save.
