NS-12246 12218 - Added Production Order Inputs, Outputs, and Unreceived PO Balances to Available Inventory Calculations

Have you ever wished you could find out how much of something you have available in Inventory even before it’s actually been received from your supplier, consumed, or produced in your facility? Say goodbye to that blind spot because NorthScope can now include unreceived Purchase Order Quantities and Production Order Input and Output quantities in its Available Balances calculation. We’ve gone a step further and given you the ability to set which transaction status NorthScope should consider as available for each of those transaction types.

An incredibly useful feature of NorthScope’s Alaska Department of Fish and Game eLandings integration is the ability to create Fish Ticket Items automatically when downloading a landing. No manual setup is necessary; everything just works. Except when the ticket item’s Price Decimals property get gets set to not allow any decimals and you must manually go into the master file and set it yourself. We’ve changed the Fish Ticket Item import, so all new ticket items automatically get set up to allow two decimals for the Ticket price, just like if you had created the item manually in NorthScope.

Isn’t it just a little bit annoying when you ask for something to be done in a specific way and your request is just ignored? We found and fixed an issue in the Inventory Item and Lot History inquiries that meant the Item Class filter option for Beginning Balances was not being honored. The barista that who made your quad shot, 2 and 3-quarter pump Caffè Mocha this morning might not have gotten the mix of chocolate, milk, and espresso exactly as you asked, but at least NorthScope’s Inquiries are showing you exactly just what you asked to see.

NS-12534 - Fixed Receipt Transaction Units and Weight UOM Conversion

You set up your item so that Units unit values do not use decimals and Weight weight values use two decimals. You also set up a Unit of Measure Conversion Schedule so that one Case case is 22.05 pounds. That 5-hundreths of a pound really is important and NorthScope knows this, but mixed-up Units units and Weight weight decimal places when converting to Pounds pounds from Cases cases on the Inventory Receipt Transaction record view. We fixed that mix-up so Pounds pounds won’t get rounded off to zero decimals when it should be two.

We made some big upgrades to the Payment Receipt and Credit Memo transactions in Purchasing, but the Vendor Balance: Apply Payables Documents window was still trying to use the old version. We fixed that glitch, so you can click drill into a Payment Receipt or Credit Memo without seeing a weird error screen.
