The purpose of the Fisherman Balances page is to show current balances for all Fishermen, Fishermen & Tenders, Tenders and LoansThe purpose of the Fisherman Balances page is to show current balances for all Fishermen, Fishermen & Tenders, Tenders and Loan accounts. Users can view balances owed to or from Accounts, open Fisherman Statements, view transaction activity tied to an Account, Apply Documents, as well as process payments drill down to various other pages, and process payment and settlement batches.

Account Type | Identifies type of Account . This comes from the 'Vendor Type' field on the 'Properties' tab of the Vendor Class record view. This field is only editable when the 'Vendor Class' is updated for the associated Account. The List of Account Types includes:

Default Settlement Accrual Account | Identifies the settlement accrual account for the associated Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender or Loan. This comes from the 'Settlement Accrual' field in the 'Accounts' tab of the Fishermen & Tenders record view or the Loans record view. This field is always editable.

Master Account | Identifies an Account associated with a Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender or Loan. Clicking the link opens the Vendor record view for the selected Account. This comes from the 'Master Account' field on the 'Properties' tab of the Fishermen & Tenders record view or the Loans record view. This field is always editable.

Net Balance | Displays what the total balance for the Account before any payments are processedwould be if everything was posted. This is calculated as [Posted Balance]+[Open Transactions]-[Open POs]. Negative net balances will appear within parentheses. This field is not editable and not stored in the database. | |||||||||||
Open PO's | Displays the total amount distributed to the Account on purchase orders in a Status of 'NewOpen' or 'Approved'. This is a calculated field, is not editable and is not stored in the database. | |||||||||||
Open Transactions | Displays the total balance amount from all transactions in a status of 'New' or 'Approved' (excludes transactions in a status of 'Ready to Post' or 'Posted'). Once the Status is set to "Ready to Post" or "Posted", the transactions will apply to the Posted Balance. Negative balances will appear within parentheses. The following transactions are included in this total: Adjustment, Balance Transfer, Payment Receipt, AP Credit Memo, Fish Ticket, Fisherman Sale, AP Invoice, Payment and Tender Resale. Payment | Identifies the amount to be paid to the Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender or Loan as a manual payment. This is a text box that defaults to '0.00'. The report specified in the 'Default Fisherman Statement' preference on the Preferences page (in the Default group) will be run when the hyperlink is clicked. Note: If the preference value is blank the default 'FA Fisherman Statement NS' report will run. If the preference value is changed or cleared, the Fisherman Balances List View will need to be reloaded to use the updated statement report. |
