Freight Terms are used to describe the contract terms between the shipper and receiver or product. They can be assigned to Inventory Transfer and Sales Order Shipments. These can print on transaction documents but do not drive an other functionality. The purpose of this page is to add, edit, remove, and activate/inactive these records.
The data in the master file is shared by the Inventory Freight Terms master file and the Sales Freight Terms master file.

If missing, the message "Freight Term is required." will be displayed on Save. The ID must be unique, otherwise the message "Duplicate Freight Terms are not allowed." will be displayed on Save. | Inactive | A Yes/No field used to identify if the | Chill Type Freight Term is Inactive. If set to 'Yes' then the record is "Inactive" and will not be included in look-ups. Setting this to Inactive only prevents the record from being manually assigned to new transactions or master files, it does not prevent transactions containing this value to be posted.
