The purpose of the Fisherman Balances page is to show current balances for all Fishermen, Fishermen & Tenders, Tenders and Loan accounts. Users can view balances owed to or from Accounts, open Fisherman Statements, drill down to various other pages, and process payment and settlement batches.

Search
Search Options | Description |
---|---|
Fisherman Class | Used to select one or more Fisherman Classes. This is a multi-select standard lookup that is not required to return results. It defaults as blank. Fisherman Classes are used to identify default values that are applied to new Fishermen, Tender, Fishermen & Tender, and Loan accounts and to group accounts and transactions together for reporting and data selection purposes. The lookup contains a list of all 'Active' Fisherman Classes. |
Include | A lookup to assign one or more conditions you want included in your search. This lookup contains:

Saved Searches | Displays the saved searches lookup and related icons. This tool allows users to select previously saved search options, create a new set of search options, save changes to existing search options, forget/delete saved search options and/or assign a saved search option as the default for the page. Once changes are made to the search options, the user can click the Save Options icon and save the changes. Saving search options will also save the preferences for 'Auto Refresh on Open' and 'Auto Hide Filters'. The new search option can also be set as the default. Default searches can be removed by clicking the 'Set as Default' button again when the current default search is selected. Refer to this FAQ for advanced search options. |

Toolbar Icons | Description |

Column Filter Show/Hide | Toggles between displaying and hiding a filter row in the grid under the column headers. The filter row will be displayed by default if the Quick Column Filter is also implemented in the page. When enabled, this will allow users to type in text to filter by a specific column. |
Excel | Export the contents of the list view to an Excel file that will automatically download. The contents that export are those that are visible to the user. Therefore, if the user has filtered the view only the filtered contents will be exported. |
Favorites | Clicking on the star icon when it is an outline, adds the page to the 'My Shortcuts' tab and fills in the star. Clicking on the star icon when it is filled in (solid color), removes the page from the 'My Shortcuts' tab and returns the icon to an outline. Users must log out and back in before the pages will be visible in the 'My Shortcuts' tab. |
Group By Show/Hide | Toggles between displaying and hiding a row in the grid above the column headers to enable grouping by one or more column(s). Once displayed, users may drag and drop column headers to group by a specific column. Once the grid is grouped by a column(s), a subtotal footer row will display in the grouping for columns that have a page footer total. |
Help | Opens the online WIKI help page for the current page. This icon is only visible on pages that are documented in the online help. |
Mass Update | Opens the mass update dialog, which allows to mass update the following properties:
The FIFO process looks to the transaction date and makes applications to the oldest transactions first. If several transactions occur on the same date, then the smallest TransactionSK number will be applied to next. |
More Actions | Displays a drop down menu of related actions. The list of options includes:

Quick Column Filter | Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include' : No link could be created for 'Quick Filter'. |
Refresh | Re-queries the contents of the grid/page based on the Inquiry Criteria parameters or the default parameters for grids that do not support Inquiry Criteria. |
Saved Layouts | Displays the column layout lookup and related icons. This tool allows users to select a previously saved layout, create a new layout, save changes to a layout, forget/delete a layout and/or assign a saved layout as the default for the page. Once changes are made to the layout, such as columns are added or removed, the user can click the Save Layout icon and save the changes to the column layout. The visibility of the Filter Row is also saved with a saved layout. The new layout can also be set as the default. This is useful for creating specific views to separate master files or transaction types (i.e. Invoice specific vs. Credit Memo specific). Default layouts can be removed by clicking the 'Set as Default' button again when the current default layout is selected. Please note that existing saved grid layouts will display the Filter Row as hidden by default. |

Vendor Types are used to classify Vendor Classes by functionality. In Accounts Payable, all Vendors are auto-assigned a Vendor Type of "Vendor". In Fisherman Accounting, accounts can be assigned a Vendor Type of either Fisherman, Tender, Fisherman & Tender, or Loan. Database Field: ERPx_APVendor.VendorTypeEN |
Batch | Displays the name of the batch. This field auto-populates after a payment has been entered, processed, but not yet Posted or when a settlement batch has been built, but not yet Posted. Database Field: ERPx_MFTransactionBatch.BatchID |
Default Settlement Accrual Account | Identifies the settlement accrual account for the associated Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender or Loan. This comes from the 'Settlement Accrual' field in the 'Accounts' tab of the Fishermen & Tenders record view or the Loans record view. This field is always editable. The GL Account that is assigned for the "Settlement Accrual" Account Type, on the Accounts tab of the Fisherman or Loan Record View and Fisherman Class Record View. This is the Balance Sheet account that is Debited or Credited when Fishing Transactions are posted for the selected Fisherman, Tender, or Loan account. Database Field: ERPx_APVendor.SAGLAcctRef |
Master Account | Identifies an Account associated with a Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender or Loan. Clicking the link opens the Vendor record view for the selected Account. This comes from the 'Master Account' field on the 'Properties' tab of the Fishermen & Tenders record view or the Loans record view. This field is always editable. The Master Account is a way to associate more than one Fisherman Accounts together for informational purposes. Database Field: ERPx_APVendor.MasterVendorSK |
Net Balance | Displays what the total balance for the Account would be if everything was posted. This is calculated as [Posted Balance]+[Open Transactions]-[Open POs]. Negative net balances will appear within parentheses. This field is not editable and not stored in the database. |
Open PO's | Displays the total amount distributed to the Account on purchase orders in a Status of 'Open'. This is a calculated field, is not editable and is not stored in the database. |
Open Transactions | Displays the total balance amount from all transactions in a status of 'New' or 'Approved' (excludes transactions in a status of 'Ready to Post' or 'Posted'). Once the Status is set to "Ready to Post" or "Posted", the transactions will apply to the Posted Balance. Negative balances will appear within parentheses. The following transactions are included in this total: Adjustment, Balance Transfer, Payment Receipt, AP Credit Memo, Fish Ticket, Fisherman Sale, AP Invoice, Payment and Tender Resale. This is a calculated field, is not editable and is not stored in the database. |
Payment | Identifies the amount to be paid to the Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender or Loan as a manual payment. This is a text box that defaults to '0.00'. Entering a value in this field and clicking the 'Process Payments' icon in the header toolbar will create a new Quick Payment batch. Posted Balance | Displays the total balance from all transactions in a status of 'Ready to Post' or 'Posted'.
