The purpose of this page is to allow users to view and allocate existing inventory lots to Sales Orders and Sales Quotes. Allocated inventory lots can then be added to the transaction as line itemsThe purpose of this page is to allow users to search for, view and allocate existing inventory lots to Sales Orders and Sales Quotes. Users have the option to add a new line item with allocations or allocate to an existing line item. The transaction's order summary of line items and their associated allocations may also be viewed from the 'Order Summary' tab as new items are added and allocated.

    Image Added Takes all item(s) where users have entered allocated units or allocated weight and adds new line item(s) to the transaction, regardless of the existence of an identical item already on the transaction. If the checkbox next to the inventory lot is checked, but no allocated units or allocated weight was entered, then the inventory lot's full available quantities will be allocated. The 'Ord. Units' and 'Ord. Weight' fields will automatically populate from the 'Alloc. Units' and 'Alloc. Weight' fields. Additionally, the 'Price' field will default to "0.00".

    Note: Users may enter either positive or negative allocations.

    Allocate Existing Line

    Image Added Replaces any existing allocations and updates the line item with the new allocation amounts, assuming the item and site combination already exists on the transaction. However, if the allocation amounts entered on the Find Lots page for the inventory lot do not match an existing order item and site combination, a new line item will be added to the transaction. If the checkbox next to the inventory lot is checked, but no allocated units or allocated weight was entered, then the inventory lot's full available quantities will be allocated. The 'Ord. Units' and 'Ord. Weight' fields will not be updated when allocations are made to existing line items.

    Note: Users may enter either positive or negative allocations.
