(Master File Name)'s are (explain what these are and what their purpose is). They are used in the (identify each functional area these are used in) Functional Area(s) (to support other master files, to support transactions, to support other master files and transactions.). The Tax Classes group one or more 'Tax Details' together for the purpose of calculating sales tax on Fishermen Sale and Tender Resale Transactions. Tax Classes can be manually assigned on transactions or assigned to individual Fishermen and Tenders to default on transactions. Tax is only enabled for the transactions enabled on the Fisherman Accounting preferences for: 'Enable Sales Tax on Fisherman Sales' and 'Enable Sales Tax on Tender Resales'. The purpose of this page is to add, edit, remove, and activate/inactive these records.
This master file is shared with the Sales functional area. Setting up a Tax Class here will be visible and usable on Sales transactions and customers and setting up a Tax Class from Sales will be visible and usable on Fishermen Sales, Tender Resales, and on Fishermen accounts.

| Inactive | A Yes/No field used to identify if the record is Inactive. If set to 'Yes' then the record is "Inactive" and will not be included in look-ups for transactions or other master files.
