Management Programs are setup by the State of Alaska Department of Fish & Game (ADF&G). They are included on fish tickets imported from eLandings and can be used in the calculation of Ticket Taxes and Ticket Premiums. The purpose of the Management Programs List View is to manage all the available codes and descriptions. This master file comes pre-loaded with the Management Programs assigned by the Alaska department of Fish & Game. From here, users can add new records, edit ID's and Descriptions of existing records, and activate/inactivate records

(lightbulb) Management Programs can be manually managed or can be auto-added as Fish Tickets are imported from eLandings provided the (Fish) Ticket Class is configured to 'Allow import of Missing or Inactive Management Programs'.

Toolbar IconsDescription
Cancel

Cancels the current unsaved changes and returns the view from Edit mode to Read only mode. This toolbar icon is only displayed when the view is in edit mode.

DeleteDeletes the selected record(s). When clicked, users will be prompted with: "Are you sure you want to delete the selected records?". Click "OK" to confirm, or "Cancel" to return without deleting. 

WARNING: Records cannot be recovered once they are deleted!

EditOpens the selected record for editing. If a record is not selected, the page will not open.
Excel Clicking the Excel toolbar icon exports the current contents of the grid to an Excel file that is automatically downloaded. The contents that export are only those currently visible. If the grid is filtered, only the filtered contents will be exported. 
Favorites Clicking on the star icon when it is an outline, adds the page to the 'My Shortcuts' tab and fills in the star. Clicking on the star icon when it is filled in (solid color), removes the page from the 'My Shortcuts' tab and returns the icon to an outline. 

(lightbulb) Users must log out and back in before the pages will be visible in the 'My Shortcuts' tab.

Grid LayoutOpens the Saved Grid Layout menu that allows the user to select another saved layout, create a new layout, save changes to a layout, or assign a saved layout as the default for the page. Once changes are made to a grid, such as columns are added or removed, the user can click the Saved Grid Layout icon and save the changes to the grid layout and name the new layout. The new layout can also be set as the default, instead of the System View. This is useful for creating specific views to separate master files or transaction types (i.e. Invoice specific vs. Credit Memo specific).

(lightbulb) The bolded view is the default view, which will determine the view will automatically display in when opened. 

HelpOpens the online WIKI help page for the current page. 

(lightbulb) This icon is only visible on pages that are documented in the online help.

NewOpens a new blank record for data entry.
SaveSaves all changes.
FieldsDescription
Management Program ID

A text box to add or edit the unique identifier of the Management Program record. This defaults to blank but is required for all records. If missing, the message "Management Program ID is required." will be displayed on Save. The ID must be unique, otherwise the message "Duplicate Management Program IDs are not allowed." will be displayed on Save. This field must be <= 20 characters.

Management Program Name

A text box to add/edit the name associated with the Management Program ID. This defaults to blank but is not required. This field must be <= 100 characters.

Inactive

A Yes/No field used to identify if the Management Program is Inactive. If set to 'Yes' then the record is "Inactive" and will not be included in look-ups. Setting this to Inactive only prevents the record from being manually assigned to new transactions or master files, it does not prevent transactions containing this value to be posted. 'No' values display as blank in the grid. This value is always editable.
