Vessels identify the boats used to catch fish. They are associated with Fishermen and Tender accounts and are assigned to Fish Tickets. The Vessel List View is used to manage all the available Vessel ID's and names. From here, users can add new records, edit ID's and Descriptions of existing records, and activate/inactivate records.
Vessels can be manually managed or can be auto-added as Fish Tickets are imported from eLandings provided the (Fish) Ticket Class is configured to 'Allow import of Missing or Inactive Vessels'.

Grid Layout | Opens the Saved Grid Layout menu that allows the user to select another saved layout, create a new layout, save changes to a layout, or assign a saved layout as the default for the page. Once changes are made to a grid, such as columns are added or removed, the user can click the Saved Grid Layout icon and save the changes to the grid layout and name the new layout. The new layout can also be set as the default, instead of the System View. This is useful for creating specific views to separate master files or transaction types (i.e. Invoice specific vs. Credit Memo specific).

The ID must be unique, otherwise the message "Vessel [Vessel Name of the new vessel] ([ADFG# of the new vessel]) ADFG Numbers must be unique. Inactive | A Yes/No field used to identify if the Vessel is Inactive. If set to 'Yes' then the record is "Inactive" and will not be included in look-ups.
