The purpose of this page is to search and view Inventory Lot information as of a specific date using filter parameters. An Inventory Lot defines the quantity of product that is unique by combination of Item, Site, Production Batch, Warehouse Lot and Owner.

(lightbulb) This list view also contains columns for each Attribute that is set up for the 'Items' attribute type. Because these are user defined, they are not included in the default view but can be added a saved layout. Item attributes are not included in the help documentation.

Filters

Inquiry ParametersDescription
As Of Date

Used to select the transaction date. All transactions occurring on or before the specified date will be included. This is a date picker that is required to return results and defaults to current date. 

Lot Owner

Used to select one or more inventory Owners. This is a multi-select load on demand lookup that is required to return results. It defaults to all Lot Owners.

Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include' : No link could be created for 'Def - Lot - Owner'.

The lookup contains a list of all Lot Owners.

Site

 Used to select one or more Sites. This is a multi-select load on demand lookup that is required to include one ore more Sites in the search results. It defaults to all Sites.

Sites represent Plants, Warehouses, Distribution Centers, or virtual objects that are used to store and/or maintain perpetual inventory balances.

The lookup contains a list of all Sites.

Summarize By

Used to specify how the search results will be grouped. This is a single-select standard lookup that is required. If defaults to "Inventory Lot".

The lookup contains the following options:

  • Inventory Lot - summary of the Item, Production Batch, Site, Warehouse Lot and Owner
  • Item - summary of the Item and Site
  • Item and Owner - summary of the Item, Owner and Site
  • Item and Warehouse Lot - summary of the Item, Site and Warehouse Lot ID
  • Item, Owner and Warehouse Lot - summary of the Item, Site, Owner and Warehouse Lot

Toolbar IconsDescription
ExcelExport the contents of the list view to an Excel file that will automatically download. The contents that export are those that are visible to the user. Therefore, if the user has filtered the view only the filtered contents will be exported. 
Favorites Clicking on the star icon when it is an outline, adds the page to the 'My Shortcuts' tab and fills in the star. Clicking on the star icon when it is filled in (solid color), removes the page from the 'My Shortcuts' tab and returns the icon to an outline. 

(lightbulb) Users must log out and back in before the pages will be visible in the 'My Shortcuts' tab.

HelpOpens the online WIKI help page for the current page. 

(lightbulb) This icon is only visible on pages that are documented in the online help.

Refresh

Re-queries the contents of the grid/page based on the Inquiry Criteria parameters or the default parameters for grids that do not support Inquiry Criteria.

Actual Cost

Displays the Actual Cost, which is the sum of actual base cost and actual layer costs, assigned to the lot. This can be edited using the Mass Update dialog box on the Update Costs List View or the 'Update Costs From BOM' toolbar icon on the Update Costs List View.

Database Field: ERPx_IMLotCostHistory.Cost

As Of Date

Identifies the cutoff transaction date to view Inventory balances that occur on and before this date. This can be edited from the 'As Of Date' in the 'Filters' tab.

Database Fields: ERPx_IMTransactionHeader.TransactionDate, ERPx_SOorderHeader.OrderDate

Cost Group

Displays the cost group of the item. This can be edited from the 'Cost Group' property on the 'Properties' tab of the Item Record View.

Cost Groups are used to associate items together that share the same cost model. ←Tom, I thought this could go in the definition?

Extended Actual CostDisplays the Actual Cost, which is the product of Actual Cost and On Hand Unit/Weight, assigned to the lot.

Market CostDisplays the Market Cost assigned to the lot after a cost update. This is the Market base cost when the the Source is Base and Actual layer cost when the source is Layer.

Standard CostDisplays the Standard Cost assigned to the lot after a cost update. This is the Standard base cost when the the Source is Base and Actual layer cost when the source is Layer.
