Fisherman Accounting

NS-5279 & NS-5372 Improved the layout and performance of the Fish Ticket Reprice pages

As we are continuing to improve performance throughout the NorthScope application, as part of this release we have updated the Fish Ticket Reprice pages (both for Item and Premium) by reorganizing some of the header filters, adding some new filters as well as allowing users to save filtered repriced records and re-filter to reprice another set of records in the same session. Details of the page changes are outlined below:

Fish Ticket Item and Premium Reprice:

  • Header filters
    • Date Option – a lookup to display the options “Landed Date” or “Delivered Date”
    • Permit Holder – We have updated the Fisherman filter to Permit Holder
    • Paid Account – a multi select combo box to select one or many Paid Account Fishermen to filter by
    • RSW Temp Range – text boxes to enter the lowest to highest temp range
    • Site Processed - a multi select combo box to select one or many sites to filter by
    • Price List - a multi select combo box to select one or many price lists to filter by
    • Major Specie - a multi select combo box to select one or many Major Species to filter by
    • Sold Conditions - a multi select combo box to select one or many Sold conditions to filter by
    • Grades - a multi select combo box to select one or many Grades to filter by

We have added the ability to Mass Update Line Item Reprice Comment, Price Update Method and the Rate/Amount to one or many ticket items:

  • Line Item Reprice Comment: to apply a 'reprice' comment specifically to a Fish Ticket Item. This defaults to "No Change".
  • Price Update Method: allows users to specify how they want to update Fish Ticket Item Prices. This defaults to "No Change" but is required if a value has been entered in the 'Amount' field. The options include:
    • Update all Prices to the same amount: Used to update all applicable line items to the Price specified in the 'Amount' field. For example, set all selected records to a price of $1.25.
    • Update all Items by a fixed amount: Used to update all applicable line items by the amount specified in the 'Amount' field. For example, increase all selected records by $0.55.
    • Update all Items by a percentage: Used to update all applicable line items by the percentage specified in the 'Amount' field. For example, increase all selected records by 3.25%.
  • Rate / Amount: Used to specify the amount or percentage to update ticket lines by. This defaults to blank but is required if a value has been selected in the 'Ticket Item Price Update Method' field.

We have also added Grade attributes to the Fish Ticket Item Reprice page that displays columns for each grade attribute in the grid. These columns are not in the system view but can be added to custom views.

Note: Users cannot have the Fish Ticket List View or Inquiries open on other tabs/windows when using the Ticket Reprice page.

NS-5276 Add Allow Variable Ordered Qty property to the Items list view 

We added the “Allow Variable Ordered Qty” property to display on the Items list view. This property is not visible by default on the System View, but can now be added to a user specified grid layout on the Items list view. 

System 

NS-5314 New error message when deleting Security Groups

It doesn’t make sense to allow users to delete Security Groups that have users assigned to it, so we’ve added a new error message to display when users attempt to do so. Additionally, when deleting more than one Security Group, an error message will display for Security Groups with users assigned to it, while Security Groups without users assigned to it will be deleted.
