NS-5332 Inquiries and Reports displayed in functional areas when there are no items available.  

Now you see it, now you don’t. We’ve modified the left navigation menu to only display Inquiries and Reports folders when the user has rights to one or more inquiry or report. We’re hoping this cuts down on confusion and unnecessary visual clutter in the left navigation menu.

NS-5483 GL Date was not assigned on Mass Update for AP Invoices and Credit Memos 

During a Mass Update for AP Invoices and Credit Memos, we were forgetting to default GL Date. #PromiseItWasNotOnPurpose.  GL Date is now defaulted from Doc Date (if GL Date is not already populated) when the status is set to Approved or Ready to Post. To make life easier, we’ve also added GL Date to the Mass Update page, so that you may update the GL Date for multiple invoice records at once. Here at NLP, we’re all about having your cake and eating it too. 

Sales 

NS-5468 Item Lookup for New Sales Orders Included Inactive Items 

We messed up by allowing users to add inactive items from the Sales Order Record View using the New button. Sorry about that! It’s been fixed. Additionally, if an item is already on a sales order and is inactivated retrospectively, you’ll still be able to complete the order.

System 

NS-5219 Text Export Report Types were not visible 

Text Export Reports such as SafePay Export, ACH Export and EDI Export were not being displayed to users. We made a few changes around here and now they’ve decided to play nice with the other reports. Going forward, you’ll find them happily hanging out in the Reports List View. And just like any other report, these report types can be configured from System > Users & Security > Data Access Groups.
