NS-5682 Created an Attribute utility script to convert List and Text Attributes for Items

We’re making it easier to work with Item attributes and their associated data types. Do you have an attribute that is a text data type but should be a list data type? Or an attribute that is a list data type that you want to be a text data type? We've got you covered. You can simply execute the utility we created. And if you're uncomfortable running it yourself, you know our door is always open.

Note - If an attribute value is not assigned to an item but is an option in the List Type attribute and the user converts to text then wants to convert back to List, only the attribute values that were previously assigned to items will be added back to the list.


Fisherman Accounting

NS-5670 Added Account Type and Settlement Accrual Account to Fisherman & Loan Activity Inquiry

Our goal is to have all the information you’ll need in one handy inquiry so you won’t have to spend time navigating to another page. That’s why the Fisherman & Loan Activity Inquiry has two new columns named “Account Type” and “Default Settlement Accrual Account”. The “Account Type” column displays by default and contains the Fisherman/Loan’s account type selection. The “Default Settlement Accrual Account” column is not displayed by default, but can be added to your Grid Layout. It will show the "Settlement Accrual" account from the Fisherman master file.

Note - If no account was selected on the Fisherman master file, the column should display the default “Settlement Accrual” account preference value.

 

NS-5667 Added Settlement Accrual Account to the Fisherman Balances List View

A new column called “Default Settlement Accrual Account” has been added to the Fisherman Balances list view. The “Default Settlement Accrual Account” column is not displayed by default, but can be added to your Grid Layout. The column displays the selected "Settlement Accrual" account from the Fisherman master file.

Note - If no account was selected on the Fisherman master file, the column should display the default “Settlement Accrual” account preference value.


Framework

NS-4627 Created a utility application to generate Barcodes for use in Reporting Services Reports

If you are using NorthScope’s barcode functionality, we have great news for you. We created a new utility application service to assist in the generation of more complex barcodes. This application will work in conjunction with the Telerik AJAX framework and output a barcode graphic in PNG format for Reporting Services.

NS-5685 Added Created Date and Created Time columns to Sales Transaction List View and Sales Transaction Item List View

‘Created Date' and ‘Created Time’ columns have been added to the Sales “Transaction List” view and the Sales “Transaction Items” list view. Separating the two columns allows for easier filtering and sorting. The new columns are hidden by default, but as always, they can be added to your Grid Layout.

NS-5688 Portal License Type Users could see NorthScope Forms that are not available to Portal

We were showing forms that should not be available to users with a license type of "Portal”. We’ve tightened up security around here to only display forms that are available to Portal license type users. This includes removing System license type pages/controls from Security Group Details record view when “Portal” is selected for the License Type property.
