Improvements

Fisherman Accounting

NS-5722 Added new Preference to specify how Fisherman Balances are displayed on the Fisherman Balances list view

To-ma-to, To-mah-to, Po-ta-to, Po-tah-to? Positive or Negative, Debit or Credit? Now you have the freedom to choose! We added a preference called “Show Credit balances on the Fisherman Balance page and aging report as:” to specify if Fisherman Balances are displayed positively or negatively on the Fisherman Balances list view. This preference will affect the following columns on the Fisherman Balances list view: Posted Balance, Open Transactions, Open PO’s and Net Balance. This preference is defaulted to “Negative”, which means you will see the Credit Fisherman balances as negative amounts. Defaulting to “positive” means you will see the Credit Fisherman balances as positive amounts.

NS-5850 Added Reference field to the Quick Sale record view, Quick Sale Lines list view and Quick Sales Lines Inquiry

Quick Sale transactions have been updated to add a Reference field to each row in the Items grid. The Reference field is hidden by default, but once added to the grid layout, can be edited at any time regardless of the status of the Quick Sale. We were on such a roll that we also added the field to the Quick Sale Lines list view and Quick Sales Lines Inquiry.

NS-5646 Updated Quick Sale lines to display in the order they were entered

Quick Sale lines have been updated to display in the same order they were added on the Quick Sales record view. To make it easier to understand, we’ve added a new column to the Quick Sales record view Items grid called “Seq.”. When a user adds new Item lines, any previously saved lines will move to the bottom of the grid and new lines will be displayed at the top for easier data entry. This behavior happens already, but now we show the corresponding sequence numbers for any new lines. For example, if a user has previously saved two Item lines (Seq. 1, Seq. 2), adding additional Item lines will display Seq. numbers 3,4,5,6 and 7 at the top of the Item lines grid. Once the record is saved, the Seq. rows will be displayed in numerical order.

Note - The Quick Sale Lines list view and Quick Sales Lines Inquiry have also been updated to display Item lines in the same sequence they were originally entered.

Bug Fixes

Sales

NS-5756 Adding items from Catalog Page caused Price to lose Precision; Price Override was not working as expected

We store the Price from the Price List in our database anytime users add items to a Sales Order via the “Sales Order: Select Items” page. However, the Price from the Price List was being saved as a whole number in our database. Not only did we add decimals to the Price to fix the issue, but we also took the opportunity to revamp our price override functionality. NorthScope will be smart enough to determine if a user has done a price override of an item on a Sales Order (from either the Items grid or the “Sales Order: Select Items” page). If so, the “Save & Reprice” button will not update the Price(s). If you would like to Reprice in this situation, you must first override the Price in the Items grid to be the original Price from the Price List.

System

NS-5450 Users with My Shortcuts Forms saved could not be deleted

We were preventing users who had My Shortcuts forms saved from being deleted. This didn’t make much sense, so we updated our code and now you can delete anyone and everyone, regardless if they have My Shortcuts forms saved.
