Improvements

Fisherman Accounting

NS-5283 Added new properties to Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender and Loan for default Addresses and enabled Mass Updates for new properties

To tackle the issue of Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender and Loan having different address types, we’ve added a new property group called “Default Address” to the Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender and Loan record view. This “Default Address” group will contain four new properties: 1099 Default, Statement Default, Payment Default and Physical Default. Additionally, we’ve added Mass Update functionality to allow users to set the address defaults to multiple Fishermen, Fishermen & Tenders, Tenders and Loans at once. The Mass Update button is available on the Fisherman Addresses list view and the Loan Addresses list view. And finally, we’re including a datafix to ensure the default address on the Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender and Loan records will become the default address for each of the four new default properties. Did we “address” everything with this improvement? #SeeWhatWeDidThere

NS-5740 Updated the Fisherman Balances list view

We’ve added new columns to the Fisherman Balances list view: Account Name, Account ID, Account, and Master Account. All new columns are hidden by default with the exception of Account Name. Account ID, Account and Master Account will display a hyperlink to allow users to easily access the Fisherman, Fisherman & Tender, Tender and Loan record view. Additionally, we’ve updated the Inquiry Criteria to allow filtering by “Fisherman Class”, which displays all Fisherman Classes that are set up in the master file.

NS-5854 Increased combobox width for the Item Description field in the Items grid on the Fisherman Sale record view

To accommodate longer Item Descriptions, we’ve increased the combobox width for the Item Description field in the Items grid on the Fisherman Sale record view.

NS-5706 Updated the Transfer transaction third party integration to support Warehouse Lot and To Warehouse Lot for To Site

The third party integration procedure has been updated to replace the element name "Bin" with the element name "WarehouseLot". The “WarehouseLot” element specifies the Warehouse Lot of the From Site on the transfer transaction. We’ve also added a “ToWarehouseLot” element to the integration procedure so users may specify the Warehouse Lot of the To Site.  If the "WarehouseLot" and “ToWarehouseLot“ elements are specified for To and From Sites that are not warehouse lot tracked, the values will be ignored, and the transaction will still integrate. If the "WarehouseLot" and “ToWarehouseLot“ elements are not specified for To and From Sites that are warehouse lot tracked, the user will receive an integration error in the Inbound Integration list view.

Note: If the Default Via Site for Integrated Transfers is populated for the To Site, the “ToWarehouseLot” element will be the Warehouse Lot for the Via Site (not the To Site). If the To Site does not have a Default Via Site for Integrated Transfer specified, then the “ToWarehouseLot” will be the warehouse lot for the To Site.

NS-5283 Added new properties to Vendors for default Addresses and enabled Mass Updates for new properties

To tackle the issue of Vendors having different address types, we’ve added a new property group called “Default Address” to the Vendors record view. This “Default Address” group will contain four new properties: 1099 Default, Statement Default, Payment Default and Physical Default. Additionally, we’ve added Mass Update functionality to allow users to set the address defaults to multiple Vendors at once. The Mass Update button is available on the Vendor Addresses list view. And finally, we’re including a datafix to ensure the default address on the Vendor record will become the default address for each of the four new default properties. Did we “address” everything with this improvement?

NS-5737 and NS-5725 Revamped the Vendor Balances list view by adding new columns, updating Inquiry Criteria and displaying Credit Balances as positive numbers

The Vendor Balances list view has been around the block and now it’s been updated for the better! We’ve added five new columns: Vendor Name, Vendor ID, Vendor, Vendor Class and Default Accounts Payable Account. All new columns are hidden by default with the exception of Vendor Name. Vendor Name, Vendor ID and Vendor will display a hyperlink to allow users to easily access the Vendor record view. The Unposted Transactions column name has been renamed to “Open Transactions”. And if you’ve specified any Vendor attributes, they will also be displayed as hidden columns. Additionally, we’ve updated the Inquiry Criteria to allow filtering by “Vendor Class”, which displays all Vendor Classes that are set up in the master file.

Our last update is a very positive one. Transactions that have a Credit Balance will display as positive and transactions that have a debit balance will display as negative.

For more information on how each transaction affects Vendor balances, please click here. We hope you’re positively happy with this improvement.

The Customer Balances list view, as you know it, is so 2019. We’re making it current and consistent with several updates. There will be four new columns all hidden by default: Customer ID, Customer, Customer Class and Default Accounts Receivable Account. Customer ID and Customer will also display a hyperlink to allow users to easily access the Customer record view. If you’ve specified any Customer attributes, they will also be displayed as hidden columns. Additionally, we’ve updated the Inquiry Criteria to allow filtering by “Customer Class”, which displays all Customer Classes that are set up in the master file.

NS-5854 Increased combobox width for the Item Description field in the Items grid on the Quick Sale record view

Bug Fixes

Purchasing

NS-5834 Fixed an issue with Loading Purchase Orders to Invoices with zero price line items

We inadvertently stopped you from loading purchase orders to invoices when the purchase order contained a zero priced line item. Going forward, you will only see the message "Price is required and must be greater than zero." when attempting to save an invoice as Approved or Ready To Post for line items with a zero price.
