Improvements

Fisherman Accounting

NS-7108 Improved performance of the Fisherman Settlement FIFO process and added Mass Update option for Auto Pay

The Fisherman Settlement FIFO process got a boost in speed and is now significantly faster. Go ahead, give it a try. While at it, you will also notice the new Mass Update option for Auto Pay from the Fisherman Balances list view. Users can now auto fill the Payment amount for one or many Fishermen at once by choosing to pay the full or a percentage of the Net Balance or Posted Balance. Easy peasy.

Framework

NS-7157 Changed NorthScope 3.0 Framework grids to use endless scroll

Pages in the NorthScope 3.0 framework will always download all data at once from the server that is needed for a grid. However, for the grids with larger datasets, the page will initially only render a certain number of rows. The benefit is that the browser does not attempt to grab all the data at once. The scrollbar will adjust as you scroll and the more you scroll, the more you will see.

Inventory

NS-7001 Added Save & Close option on Inventory Transaction Record Views and fixed existing issue with Save & Close

The Save button on all inventory transaction record views now has a ‘Save & Close’ option. Selecting this option will save any updates made in the record view and close the Record View. At the same time, we fixed a known issue with the Save & Close functionality on pages in the NorthScope 3.0 framework so that it saves... and closes... instead of not doing that.

NS-7141 Added a Mass Update option for Warehouse Lot in the Inventory Transaction Record Views

Going forward, the Mass Update dialog will include an option to update the Warehouse Lot on all inventory transaction record views. While an inventory transaction is in a status of ‘New’, users may update the Warehouse Lot for one or more line items. This will result in inventory lot balances being updated accordingly. Please note that we will still honor the business rules for the associated Site’s ‘Warehouse Lot Tracked’ property. For example, if the ‘Warehouse Lot Tracked' property is set to “Yes - Limit Warehouse Lots to single items”, users would be prevented from mass updating the Warehouse Lot for multiple items to the same Warehouse Lot.
