NS-7532 Added a Statistical Account master file List View

It’s our passion to give customers the most useful functionality to better assist business needs. To that end, we’re giving users a way to track and report on non-monetary data by adding the ability to use Statistical Accounts. There is a new List View in Financial > Setup where users can add/edit/delete these accounts.

Users can create Manual journals, either via File Import or the Journal Entries page in NorthScope, to record data to these accounts. The journals for Statistical Accounts do not have to balance and will not be available to use in any other transactions / master files. Users can review statistical account balances and data via the Journal Line History Inquiry.

When running the Year End Close, statistical account balances will update accordingly based on if the account was setup to clear balances or not.

NS-7720 Created Fish Ticket Tax and Premium Duplicator

Fish Ticket Taxes and Premiums can be a pain in the you-know-what to set up. We added a Copy button to the Fish Ticket Premiums List View and the Fish Ticket Taxes List View. Simply select a single program to copy from before clicking the Copy button (also known as the EASY button). Users may choose between a ‘Copy Type’ of “New Program” or “New Version” and specify if Rates should also be copied. Please note that if Rates are not copied, then all details will still be copied and Rates will default as zeroes.

Creating a new program will create a stand-alone program. Creating a new version of an existing program will link the two programs together, use the same Program ID and Description, and validate that the dates of different versions do not overlap. If users are creating a new version and the program being copied from does not have a ‘Landing Date End’, then the ‘Landing Date End’ field will automatically be populated with [Start Date – 1 day]. We do allow the ability to create a new version of an earlier version of a program but will validate that the date range does not overlap with the latest version of the program.

To accommodate versioning of programs, we added three new fields to the Fish Ticket Premiums List View and the Fish Ticket Taxes List View: Current Version, Newest Version and Version. The ‘Current Version’ column will display “Yes” if the current date falls within the ‘Landing Date Start’ and ‘Landing Date End’ fields. The ‘Latest Version’ column will display “Yes” for the version that was last created. Programs without versions will display “Yes” for this column as well. The ‘Version’ column will display a numeric value. Users may only delete programs where the ‘Latest Version’ is “Yes” and it is not assigned to a Fish Ticket.

Note: All properties of a program are always copied with the exception of the ‘Landing Date Start’ and ‘Landing Date End’ fields.
