Fisherman Accounting

NS-7802 Added View button to the Fisherman Balances List View

Viewing inquiries and Fishermen information has never been easier. From the Fisherman Balances List View, we’ve added a View button with the following options: Activity, Statement, Fisherman Balance, Account Record, and Master Account Record. Users will need to select one row to view any of the options. The exception is the Fisherman Balance option that opens the new Fisherman Balance Detail inquiry, where we allow users to select multiple Accounts. The associated ‘Activity’ and ‘Statement’ columns have been removed from the grid.

NS-7829 Created new Fisherman Balance Detail Inquiry

We’ve created a new inquiry to display transaction details for one or more Fishermen, Fishermen & Tenders, Tenders and Loans. The Fisherman Balance Detail Inquiry may be launched from either the Fisherman Accounting > Inquiries left navigation menu or via the View > Fisherman Balance option on the Fisherman Balances List View. If the inquiry is launched from the Fisherman Balances List View, the Fisherman search option will be defaulted to the selected Fisherman (or Fishermen) and the sum of all transactions will match the balances listed on the Fisherman Balances List View. Please note that this inquiry will only display the latest version of a transaction.

 

NS-7825 & NS-7848 Updated Fish Ticket History and Fish Ticket Item History Inquires

The Fish Ticket History and Fish Ticket Item History inquiries have been upgraded to the new framework. By now, you’ve probably figured out that anytime we convert an inquiry to the new framework, previous Inquiry Criteria filters are added to the page as Search Options. We also added a Version search option and a Search text box to both inquiries for further filtering of results. BAM! The Version search option allows users to filter all ticket versions or the current Posted version. The Search text box has the ability to search, either using Keywords or not, on Ticket, Class, Delivery, Permit Holder (as Permit), Vessel, Site and Tender.  Please see this FAQ for more information on searching with keywords.

Four new columns, which are hidden by default, were added to the results grid: ‘Version Gross Amount’, ‘Version Fisherman Tax Amount’, ‘Version Net Amount’ and ‘Version Company Tax Amount’. These columns display the associated amounts for the corresponding Fish Ticket version, so for example, if a ticket has been corrected and results in different gross/net/tax amounts, these columns will display the difference between the new ticket/line amounts and the original ticket/line amounts.

Note: This item includes a datafix to update the ‘Last Updated By’ field for Fish Tickets in Replaced status to display the user first and last name instead of the SK value.
