Inventory 

NS-7242 Added a validation when users Mass Update Warehouse lot in Inventory transactions not in New status  

We are keeping an inventory of helpful messages and we have added a new one to it. The message "Warehouse Lot may only be updated for transactions in the status of New." will display to users if they try to Mass Update the Warehouse Lot and To Warehouse Lot (on Transfer transactions) when the transaction is in a status of Approved or Ready To Post/Posted.  

  

NS-7430 Updated the Commitments and Allocations Inquiry to display both Inside and Outside Salespersons 

The Commitments and Allocations Inquiry previously had a column to display the Salesperson on the corresponding Sales Order/Quote/Return/Price Adjustment record if one was selected, however there are two types of Salesperson, Inside and Outside.  So, we have updated the inquiry to display a column for each Salesperson type from the corresponding transaction. 

 

NS-7883 Made some Inventory performance improvements 

We’re always looking for ways to improve performance in NorthScope, so we made some updates that enhances the History Inquiries and posting of inventory transactions. 

Bug Fixes 

Financial 

NS-7856 Fixed an issue opening Sales Order transactions from the Journal Entry History Inquiry 

Occasionally users would run into an issue trying to view the source transaction of a Sales Order / Return / Price Adjustment from the Journal Entry History Inquiry where a blank record would open in another tab instead of the expected transaction.  Never fear, this is no longer an issue.

Inventory 

NS-7286 Updated Unit and Weight UOM lookups on record view grids to remove the blank value 

There were some issues when the blank value in the Unit and Weight UOM lookups were selected on the Inventory Transaction Record Views.  Since a UOM is required for an inventory item, we have removed the blank values to prevent any further issues. 

NS-7544 Fixed an issue where the Transaction History Inquiries were not displaying the correct decimals for items on Adjustment transactions 

Since Adjustments can have items with a Unit and Weight value of up to 5 decimals, the Transaction History – Lot and Transaction History – Item Inquiries were only displaying 2 decimals, so we have fixed that to display the correct number of decimals for the associated item(s) on the corresponding Adjustment transaction.  

Payroll 

NS-8042 Fixed an issue with printing reports from the Employee List View 

Users were experiencing an issue trying to print Direct Print type reports from the Employee List View, where the reports were not opening after clicking the button, this was due to how the report URL was being generated and has been fixed. 

 

NS-8055 Fixed an issue with saving Employees without middle names on the Employee List View 

Some integrations were receiving an error when an Employee record without a Middle Name value on the Employee List view.  Users can now add employees with or without a middle name without any issues.
