For this week’s release we have been busy squishing some of those pesky bugs to hopefully make your NorthScope experience as smooth as possible!

Bug Fixes

Financial

NS-8450 Fixed some issues with the Financial Inquiries

The Account Balances by period and Journal Line History inquiry were not always running correctly when all the Search Options were set to run ‘All’ data, so now all data will be displayed in this scenario.

We also fixed the Net Change column amount to display for Beginning Balance rows on the Journal Line History Inquiry.  We also set the Beginning Balance row to display by default when users drill to this inquiry from either the Account Balances or Account Balances by Period Inquiries.

Fisherman Accounting

NS-8147 Fixed an issue with zero dollar settlement transactions not getting marked as fully settled

Everyone likes getting paid when they aren’t owed anything, but nobody likes to pay people when they don’t owe them anything. Settlement batches for fishermen were pulling in transactions that were $0 and should not have been. Long story short, there was a flag that marked transactions as fully settled that wasn’t being set right, well this is fixed and there will be no more $0 transactions in settlement batches.

NS-8455 Fixed an issue with Deleting ACH records

Selecting a Fisherman ACH record that is not on an open settlement batch and clicking Delete from the list view will actually be deleted now! 

Purchasing

NS-8312 Fixed an issue with processing payments per invoice when more than one invoice had the same dollar amount

Users ran into an issue trying to process a payment batch when choosing to pay ‘One Payment Per Document’ and there was more than one invoice with the same dollar amount for the corresponding Vendor. 

NS-8455 Fixed an issue with Deleting ACH records

Selecting a Vendor ACH record that is not on an open payment batch and clicking Delete from the list view will actually be deleted now!

NS-8528 Fixed an issue with Fisherman Sale and Tender Resale hyperlink on Quick Sale Lines Inquiry

Have you ever set off to go somewhere and you wind up nowhere? That’s exactly what was happening when you tried opening a Fisherman Sale or Tender Resale record from the Transaction hyperlink from the Quick Sale Lines Inquiry. But never fear, now you will get to the proper destination.
