NS-8783 Renamed some Attribute Transaction types for the Sales Functional Area

We have renamed two Sales Order Transaction types that users can assign attribute rules to, ‘Customer Sale’ and ‘Employee Sale’ have been renamed to ‘Quick Sale – Customer’ and ‘Quick Sale – Employee’ respectively. We also removed the Sales Order – Invoice transaction type since this is no longer needed.

NS-8787 Removed some unneeded columns from the Journal Entries and Journal Lines List Views

We have cleaned up the Journal Entries and Journal Lines List Views by removing the following columns:

  • Source Module
  • Source Trans Type
  • Source Trans ID
  • Source Trans Date
  • Posted
  • Posted By

Framework

NS-8754 Improved the Save Process in the NorthScope 3.0 Framework

We have worked on updating and improving how the Save Process is written for the new 3.0 Framework pages which for this release has been applied to the Item Record View.  Users will see the record saves much faster than before with no other functionality changes.


NS-8795 Moved the Help icon on NorthScope 3.0 Transaction Record View’s from the grid toolbar to the header toolbar

Did you wonder why we were displaying the Help toolbar icon on the grid toolbar of a transaction Record View in the new 3.0 Framework?  Well, so did we!  So we have moved it to where you expect to find it, in the header toolbar.

NS-8775 Fixed some GL Account Bugs

We fixed some issues where users were experiencing an error trying to add and save a new GL Account and update existing account information, such as the Account Description.  Additionally, we added a validation to prevent users from inactivating an account if that account has a current balance. Users will now be able to edit the Account number provided integration is set to None for GL Account.  Lastly, we updated the GL Account Segment Record View to sort by Number (Segment ID).

Fisherman Accounting

NS-8791 Fixed an issue setting up a Fisherman that has more than one Address ID for ACH using the ‘All’ option

We fixed an issue where users were receiving a foreign key error on Save when trying to setup a Fisherman that had more than one Address ID for ACH (that were not already configured for ACH) using the ‘All’ address ID option on the Fisherman ACH List View. 

Framework

NS-8803 Fixed the filter row textbox format for additional columns

We noticed that for some columns in the 3.0 Framework (for example the GL Account Segments columns on the Journal Line History Inquiry and the GL Account Balances by Period Inquiry) that the Filter Row textbox looked different to all the other filter row textboxes, so we fixed this issue.

NS-8779 Fixed some Item Class Bugs

We Updated the Item Class List View to sort by Class ID and users will now be able to edit the Class ID on the Record View when the Outbound integration for Item Class is set to None.  Additionally, we fixed an issue with the List View Delete for Item Class Records and provided integration is set to None and the class is not assigned to any items, users will be able to delete Item Class records as expected.

NS-8799 Fixed an issue with Date type attributes causing the Item Set Record View to break

We fixed an issue if there were Date type attributes setup for Items and users tried to open the Item Set Record View, they would receive a server error and the page would not open.

NS-8807 Fixed an issue with setting a Default Page for some NorthScope 3.0 pages

We fixed an issue where users would receive a server error and the page would not open when some NorthScope 3.0 framework pages were set as the Default Page on the User’s Profile Security tab. Additionally, we fixed another bug where some pages that were set as a Default Page would cause the left hand menu not to expand to that page. 

NS-8584 Fixed an issue with Integration Queue timeouts

Some users were experiencing timeout errors when attempting to transfer very large amounts of data through the Integration Queue, this was due to a combination of internet connection speed and the window of time allowed to receive the data on the server side had reached its maximum limit.  To resolve this issue, we have added data compression at the database level.
