Overview

The steps below document the process to change your Microsoft Dynamics GP password. In order to change your password following these steps, you must know your current password.

Step 1: Navigate to User Preferences

To open the User Preferences window, first click the Microsoft Dynamics GP menu drop-down. Then, click User Preferences. This will open the User Preferences window for the current user.

Step 2: Change the Password

From the User Preferences window, click Password. This will open the User Password Setup window.

In this window, enter the user’s old password and then the new desired password. The new password needs to be entered again to confirm.

Once the passwords have been entered, click OK to set the password.
