Improvements

Sales

NS-9435 Updated the Sales Allocation page

Allocations are important right? Speedy and easy allocations are more important right? Well, we revamped the allocations page to be faster and better than ever. The page looks and feels more like other pages in the system that look for lots. It’s more responsive and the experience is more fluid. We also added an Order Summary tab so you can see your items, ordered quantities, and allocated quantities of all items, not just the one you are working with. Overall, it’s simpler and more useful for you and we have cleaned up many things under the hood. That’s what we call a win win.

Bug Fixes

Inventory

NS-10203 Updated the Security Controls for the Item Record View Advanced Properties Tab

When we updated the Item Record View to the new 3.0 framework we created a second Properties tab called Advanced Properties.  However, we did not update the security controls to allow users to set security for this tab, so we have added that now.

Sales

NS-10211 Fixed the Sales Transaction lookup to not display the word 'Default'

So that you can go about your business and get up and going as quickly as possible with a new install of NorthScope, we ship default transaction classes for Sales Order, Quotes, Price Adjustments, and Returns. However, what we noticed is that the “Default” word just isn’t pleasing to the eyes, so we removed it. From now on the New button on the Transactions list view in Sales will no longer say “Default”. Over and out.

NS-10267 Fixed an issue with Printing from the Print Dialog from Posted Sales Orders

Users were getting an error message trying to print from the Print Dialog from Posted Sales Transactions.  We have fixed this and now users can print the reports they need to for historical sales orders.

NS-10291 Fixed an issue where Payment Terms were not defaulting on transactions correctly

We fixed an issue where the Payment Terms were defaulting from the Customer for new Sales Transactions instead of defaulting from the corresponding Sales Transaction Class if a value exists otherwise it will default from the Customer if not.
