NS-11358 Added multi-currency to Purchasing and improvements to multi-currency setup and Sales
Do you wish you could purchase from a foreign country? Do you wish you could do so in the currency of the vendor? Well just like a genie we are out here granting wishes. We revamped the currency setup pages and converted them to our 3.0 framework. We converted the Vendor Balances List View and Vendor History Inquiry to 3.0 as well to improve performance, functionality and added currency throughout the Purchasing Functional Area. You can now add vendors with a foreign currency, purchase from them and pay them all while we keep track of any gain or loss with currency exchange rates changing.
As we analyzed our current multi-currency offering, we realized there were some gaps and ability to improve upon it in our Sales functional area. We went ahead and cleaned up some things because nobody wants dirty money. (this would be wish number two granted).
Well as genies are concerned you have one wish left... so choose wisely.
Mobile
NS-11045 Added Site to Fisher Sales
In both the NorthScope webapp and the Mobile version of NorthScope, the Fisherman Sale has received a new field for Site. This has all been added to the corresponding list views and inquiries.
NS-11137 Added Printing Support to NorthScope Mobile
You can now print a Fisher Sale or Fish Ticket report from NorthScope Mobile. The Report to print is setup in the Fisherman Accounting Preferences page within the web app. After successfully submitting a transaction from NorthScope Mobile to the NorthScope web app you will have an alert and from there you can print your reports.
NS-11243 Fisher Sale and Fish Ticket should not suppress zero-quantity items
Whether you feel like a hero or a zero, we want you in NorthScope. This is also true with zero-quantity items in our Mobile Fisher Sale or Fish Tickets. We felt bad about excluding them so they are back.
NS-11247 List views should display “No Data” if there is in fact no data
Have you ever opened a page on a mobile app and it’s just blank. You sit there for a little bit and wait, you stop looking at your phone thinking that might make the data appear, then finally you just throw it in frustration? Well, what if you found out there wasn’t any data to display? You’d probably like there to be some sort of message to tell you that, so that’s what we did. No more phone throwing for you.
NS-11251 Added form level security for Mobile
Sometimes you need to put fences around user access, we get it. That’s why we made sure to give you the ability to set access to Mobile pages as well. In the Security Group page you will now see Mobile forms for you to limit users’ access.
