NS-3175 Added Item Copy Feature

A new feature was added to NorthScope to allow users to copy existing items to create new items in the system. Individual items can be copied from the Items list and record views. Users can select if the item Accounts, Attributes and Certifications are copied alongside with the item properties. The Item Copy dialog window also allows users to enter UPC and GTIN IDs for the new item.

NS-3280 Added Vendor Transaction History Inquiry

A new inquiry 'Vendor Transaction History' was added to the system to summarize the vendor transaction history. The inquiry can be launched from the Vendor Balances list view by selecting the vendor and clicking 'View' and 'Transactions' or from the Purchasing Reports & Inquiries page.

NS-2958 Updated NorthScope to Support International Date Formats

A new feature was added to NorthScope to support multiple date formats. Previously the system supported a single date format (MM/DD/YY). Due to the software being used in different parts of the world the system has been updated to support multiple date formats (DD/MM/YY and YY-MM-DD). The date format can be selected in the Users Preferences settings by choosing a date format from the System dropdown menu.

NS-3273 Added the Ability to Import GL Journal Entries

A new import feature was added to allow users to import multiple GL journal entries using an excel template.  The template can be downloaded from the Company Integration Inbound page by the File Import toolbar icon. The header details for each GL journal entry on the excel template must match in order to import multiple lines for one GL entry.

NS-3290 Added Properties Tab to Fisherman Sale and Tender Resale Records

A new tab ‘Properties’ was added to Fisherman Sale and Tender Resale records. The tab displays the following transaction details:

  • Created By
  • Created Date
  • Currency ID
  • Fisherman ID
  • GL Date
  • Last Updated
  • Last User
  • Posted Date
  • Tender ID (Tender Resale Only)
  • Transaction Class
  • Transaction SK (Tender Resale Only)

The GL Date is the only editable field in the properties. If the GL date is not manually entered, it defaults to the transaction date when the transaction is saved as Approved or Ready to Post.

NS-3292 Update the Fisherman Sale and Tender Resale Doc Number validation

Previously when a Fisherman Sale and Tender Resale transaction was voided the same Document Number was not allowed to be used in a new transaction. This has been updated to allow users to create Fisherman Sale and Tender Resale transactions using the same Document Number as a previously voided transaction.

NS-3291 Updated Fisherman Sale and Cash Receipt Deletion to set the Status to Delete

Previously when a user deleted a Fisherman Sale, Tender Resale or Cash Receipt transaction, the status was set to be 'Void'. The status has been updated and set to 'Deleted' when a transaction is deleted.

Sales Order

NS-3249 Added a New Transaction Class Property

A new Transaction Class property ‘First status invoices are sent to the host system’ was added to Order, Return and Price Adjustment type transaction class records. The property defines the transaction status when sales order transactions are integrated to the Host system. The available values for the property are ‘Approved’ and ‘Ready to Post’. The default value is ‘Ready to Post’.

Note: Sales Order transactions that posted in the Host system while they are in Approved status in NorthScope will not be updated to Posted after the transactions are posted in the Host system. Set the SO Invoice integration to None and update the status of the transaction to Ready to Post to update the transaction status to Posted.   

NS-3271 Updated Tabs to be Enabled on Sales Order Record when Workflow Access is Visible

Previously, the Shipment, Properties and Attribute tabs were disabled on Sales Order transaction records, when the user had a visible workflow access to the workflow step, which prevented the user from viewing the tabs. Sales Order transaction records were updated to enable the Shipment, Properties and Attribute tabs when the user has visible workflow access. Users with visible access can now view the tab details, but all fields are disabled to prevent users with visible access from editing any fields.

NS-3310 Fixed Journal Entry Lines on Journal Details Page

Due to a bug, Journal Entry lines were doubling certain journal entry lines in journal entry details with all types of transactions. The issue is now fixed.

Note: The issue was with how the data was displayed and the actual journal entry was created correctly.

Due to a bug, voiding fisherman transactions was not working as expected, if the transaction had applications. The issue is now fixed
