NS-150: Added a new Item/Site Inquiry

The system now ships with an Item/Site inquiry page under Reports. This inquiry returns product balances by Site and Item.

Purchasing

NS-156 & NS-185: Added Purchasing Programs and Purchasing Program Classes

NorthScope now supports adding and editing purchasing programs using the purchasing program list and record views. Purchasing Program classes have been added to the system as well to support categorization of individual purchasing programs.

Sales Order

NS-144: Added a feature to the sales order transaction to identify all shipped Containers

The Details column has been added to the Sales Order Record View → Logistics Tab. This new page allows users to enter additional details about specific shipments, including the ability to identify every container number.

NS-145: Added a new capability for managing Delivered Freight accruals

NorthScope now supports multiple delivered freight accrual options when working with shipments from the Logistics tab. Prior to this release, the only way to properly accrue for delivered freight was to configure Freight Programs that were automatically added to sales transactions. With this release, users have three options for accruing for freight for a sales transaction:

Use the freight programs
Specify the price's UOM
Specify the total amount

NS-159: Added a new list view to display Order Items

A new list view was added that allows users to view and edit sales order items without opening each sales transaction. This feature can be used to edit ordered quantities and prices.

Sales Programs

NS-146: Added a new brokerage calculation method

NorthScope now supports a new brokerage method for "Net $'s" which is defined as the gross sales amount less delivered freight. Prior to this release, brokerage did not have the ability to exclude the delivered freight portion of the sale, so commissions always included freight.

System

NS-153: Added the Criteria icon to the Dynamic List View paradigm

The Criteria button has been added to the system list view framework to support the features previously supported by the "Inquiry" grids.

NS-158: Added the ability for Dynamic List View controls to execute ad-hoc JavaScript

The system list view framework now supports executing ad-hoc JavaScript to handle page specific business logic.

NS-169: Created the Dynamic Record View framework

The NorthScope system now supports building dynamic record view forms.

Enhancements

Sales Order

NS-167: Added capability to auto-email sales invoices to customers who want an electronic copy

The NorthScope system now supports three options for delivering customer invoices. This setting is configured on a customer-by-customer basis and the options are:

Print
Email
Print & Email

When invoices are processed, all customer invoices set to Print or Print & Email will be sent to a printer. For invoices for customers set to Email or Print & Email, an automatic email of their invoice(s) will be sent.

NS-224: Implemented row-by-row control types for Dynamic List Views

The system list view framework was updated to support grids for properties and preferences. Prior to this release, only traditional list view grids were supported.

NS-160: Added Notes and custom toolbar buttons to Dynamic List Views

The system list views now support custom toolbar buttons

NS-161: Added capability to group pages within a single menu item in the Navigation Pane

The NorthScope menu structure now supports groups of forms so that related forms can be grouped together.

Fixes

Sales Order

NS-129: Attributes not populating under the Attributes Tab of the Customer Address record view

The Customer Address record view was updated to fix an issue where attributes were not displaying at all when trying to add an attribute value from a list.

System

NS-228: Numeric text boxes not rendering correctly in the Mass Update window

The Mass Update window was fixed so that text boxes now display correctly instead of always being displayed as a date control.

NS-230: Workflow lookup not working correctly

The workflow lookup was only showing the value "Next Step" and this error has been fixed.
