NS-3360 Added Posting Status to Fiscal Period Records

A new property 'Posting Status' was added to Fiscal Period. The posting status can be Open, Closed or Archived. When the Year End Process is run in the Host system, the fiscal year posting status is updated to Closed in NorthScope and the previous year is updated to Archived. When the Posting Status is Archived, the fiscal period record cannot be edited. This change also included the following changes:

  • Added a new field 'Posting Status' to the Fiscal Period record view
  • Added a new column 'Posting Type' to Fiscal Periods list view
  • Added a new column '# Open Periods' to the Fiscal Periods list view


NS-3375 Updated Account Balance Summary Inquiry

The Account Balance Summary inquiry was updated with the following changes:

  • Added a new column 'Beginning Balance' (not in the system view)
  • Added a new column 'Account'
  • Added new Inquiry Criteria: Account and Account Number Search
  • Created a stand-alone version of the inquiry, which can now be opened from the Financial Reports & Inquiries page.

NS-3432 Added Production Batch Property to Item Copy

Item property 'Production Batch Class' was added to copy over to the new item record when a new item is created with the item copy feature.

NS-3338 Added Properties to Adjustment Transactions

A new Properties tab was added to Adjustment Transactions. The tab displays the following properties:

  • Created By
  • Created Date
  • Currency ID: Defaults to the company currency and is only editable when no lines are added to the transaction.
  • GL Date: Editable when the transaction status is New.
  • Last Updated
  • Last User
  • Posted Date
  • Transaction Class

NS-3339 Added Properties to Balance Transfer Transactions

A new Properties tab was added to Balance Transfer Transactions. The tab displays the following properties:

  • Created By
  • Created Date
  • Currency ID: Defaults to the company currency and is only editable when no lines are added to the transaction.
  • GL Date: Editable when the transaction status is New.
  • Last Updated
  • Last User
  • Posted Date
  • Transaction Class

NS-3378 Changed Ticket 'Buying Station Name' Property to Text Field

The Delivery Ticket property 'Buying Station Name' was changed from a lookup field to a text field. This change was made to accommodate how the property is integrated from eLandings.

NS-3449 Updated the Tender Resale Transaction to allow the Same Tender and Fisherman to be Selected

Users are now able to select the same Tender and Fisherman in a Tender Resale Transaction.  However, if the transaction contains a transfer line item the user will not be able to Approve or Post the Transaction, receiving the following warning "You cannot Approve or Post a Tender Resale with the same Tender and Fisherman with a Transfer Line."

NS-3121 Updated the Print Dialog to Improve Email, Export and Direct Print Features

The print dialog feature was improved to allow users to print directly to printers and export files to different file formats (PDF, Excel, Word, CSV, Text).  The ability to preview, print, export and email reports are all available from the print dialog box by selecting the Print toolbar icon from both the record and list views.  Users can print/preview/export/email multiple reports for multiple transactions.  The feature also allows the user to create and export reports directly from a query.  The reports from this feature will only be available to export as a text format which will download a .csv file with the data.

Note: Some reports do not support all file formats, the supported file formats are listed next to each report name.

NS-3365 Fixed Tender-Delivered and Tender-Buyer to be Removable on Tickets

Due to a bug, an error message was displayed for the user if either Tender-Delivered or Tender-Buyer  value was removed from a Delivery Ticket and the ticket was saved. The issue is now fixed.

NS-3426 Fixed Fisherman Activity Remaining Amount to Zero for Deleted Transactions

Previously, the Remaining Amount displayed on Fisherman Activity did not zero as expected when a Fisherman Sale or Tender Resale transaction was deleted. The issue is now fixed.

NS- 3435 Fixed Posting Tender Resales with Transfer Lines

Due to a bug, Tender Resales were not posting when the transaction included a transfer line item.  The issue is now fixed.
