Inventory

NS-1608 Added Delete Button on Production Batch Record View

Previously, the Production Batch Record View didn’t have a delete button and Production Batches could only be deleted from the list view. The delete button has now been added to the record view, which allows Production Batch deletion. The list view deletion button has not been removed and can still be used for deletion as well.

NS-1670 Updated Inventory Transaction Bulk Import

This improvement included a few small changes for the Inventory Transaction Bulk Import framework.

• The Production Batch and Status are no longer required fields when importing the transactions. The Transaction Status now defaults to New when the status is not entered.
• List type attributes are now supported and can be entered, but they are not required.

NS-1681 Changed Inventory Lots to Close Automatically

In previous versions Inventory Lots had to be manually closed and with this improvement Inventory Lots will be automatically closed when the On Hold, Allocated and On Hand quantities are zero. This improvement will also delete warehouse lots, production lots and inventory lots that were created more than 7 days ago, but have not been used. On the other hand, any closed lots that have On Hold, Allocated or On Hand quantities greater than zero will be automatically opened. The job is being run daily.

NS-1714 Added New Item Properties for Unit Decimals and Weight Decimals

Three new properties have been added to the Item Record: Unit Decimals, Weight Decimals and Unit Tare Weight. Both Unit and Weight Decimals on the item record default from the Item Class and these fields allow values from 0 to 5. If the Item has any history, then these fields cannot be edited. Unit Tare Weight field is always editable and it is not a required field. It allows 0 or any positive value.

Sales order

NS-1619 Updated when Inventory SO Shipment is Created

With this change Sales Order Shipment Transactions have a one-to-one relationship with Load Transactions and a Sales Order Shipment is created when a Load Transaction is shipped. As part of this change, Ord. Units and Ord. Weight and item allocations are disabled once the Shipment status is shipped.

NS-1679 Prevent Users from Mismatching Ordered Units / Ordered Weight Signs

This improvement prevents users from creating Sales Order line items with mismatched ordered units and ordered weight signs. E.g. if a user tries to enter a line item with positive ordered units and negative ordered weight, an error message is displayed and the user is prevented from proceeding with the order. 

NS-1682 Added Export Details Link to Sales Order Record’s Shipment Tab

An Export Details hyperlink has been added to Sales Order Record View’s Shipment tab. The hyperlink is located next to the Note hyperlink and its part of the default view.

NS-1683 Updated Invoice Document Printing to Re-Assign Invoice Date

Previously, the Invoice Date was not being updated if the Shipped Date was changed and a new Invoice was printed. This has now been changed. If the Shipped Date is changed and a new Invoice is printed the new Shipped Date is updated as the Invoice Date. The Invoiced date on the Shipments tab is also updated with the new date after printing. 

NS-1691 Updated Sales Order Auto-Hold Processing

NorthScope has a preference to set Sales Orders automatically on a Credit Hold, if the customer has or is about to exceed the set credit limit. Due to previous Sales Order Transaction changes, the transaction auto-hold processing had to be updated in order to work properly. As part of this change, the message type was also updated. Previously the message was sent to the user’s message queue, but now the credit hold message is displayed as a prompt message. 

NS-1531 Updated On-Invoice and Promotion Sales Programs to Display as Lite Items

Previously, On-Invoice and Promotion Sales Programs were displayed in Program Details, but with this change they are displayed on the Sales Order as line items. When an item has been added to the Sales Order, a new Sales Order line item is auto-created if the item, customer, site and carrier combination is eligible for an active Sales Program. The Sales Program line item is for informational use only and cannot be edited. Any changes, e.g. adjusting the Sales Program amount, can be done in Program Details. This change impacts On-Invoice and Promotions Sales Programs only.

NS-1661 Replaced Sales Order Invoice Inquiry with Billing Inquiry

A new inquiry called ‘Billing Inquiry’ has been created and the ‘Invoice Inquiry’ has been removed. Besides invoices, the new inquiry also includes Sales Order Price Adjustments and Returns. 

NS-1712 Added a Site Sort to the Allocate Site Lookup

Previously the sites in ‘Allocate From’ menu were not in any particular order on the Allocate Item window. This has now been changed and the menu items are displayed in an alphabetical order, though the menu item ‘Transaction Sites’ is always displayed on the top.

System & Inventory

NS-1678 Updated Attribute and Certification Names to Accept Only Alphabets as the First Character

Previously there was no validation for Attribute and Lot Certification Names. If a user created a new Attribute or a new Lot certification, which started with other than alpha character, the Production Batch List View broke. With this change an error message is displayed and a user is prevented from creating an Attribute / Certification with an invalid first character (e.g. 123Attribute or &Certification).

Bug Fixes

Inventory

NS-1655 Fixed Lot Balances View to Accept New Lot Certifications

Due to a bug, the Lot Balances view was breaking and an error message was displayed when a new Lot Certification was created. The issue has now been fixed and the Lot Balances view loads without issues when new certifications are created. The new certification is being added as a column automatically when at least one item is being assigned to the certification.

NS-1701 Fixed Inventory Transaction Deletion from the List View

Due to a bug, multiple Inventory Transactions couldn’t be deleted from the Inventory Transactions List View simultaneously and users were getting an error message. This has now been fixed and multiple Inventory Transactions can be deleted from the List View without error messages.

NS-1692 Fixed Issue with Attribute Assignment When Importing Production Batches

Due to a bug, attribute assignments worked inconsistently when inventory transactions were imported with production batches. This issue has been fixed in this release and production batch attributes are being imported properly.

Sales Order

NS-486 Fixed Print / Mass Update Screen Errors

Previously a bug was causing error messages on List View’s Print and Mass Update windows. This was happening when users were filtering and selecting multiple records on a list view. The bug has now been fixed and Print and Mass Update features are working without issues.

NS-1680 Fixed Sales Order Date to Carry Over from the Catalog to the Transaction Record

Due to a bug, the entered sales order date on the Catalog page didn’t carry over to the Sales Order   Transaction Record. It defaulted to the current date instead and users had to manually change the date. This issue has now been resolved and the order date entered on the Catalog page carries over to the Sales Order Record.

NS-1697 Fixed Sales Order Record View Delete Button to Void the Transaction

Previously the Delete button on Sales Order Transaction Record View incorrectly deleted the transaction record instead of changing the status to Void. The Delete button was working correctly when on the List View and the issue was only impacting the record view. The Record View Delete button has now been fixed and the Sales Order transaction is now voided when the Delete button is clicked.

NS-1713 Fixed Item Filtering Issue with the Lot Picker from Sales Order

Due to a bug, the ‘Allocate Item’ window was not updating the available balances correctly when the same item was on the sales order more than once.  This has now been fixed in this release and the lot balances are being updated correctly even when the item appears more than once on the sales order.

NS-1673 Fixed Data Access Groups Page

A change in previous release broke the Data Access Groups page and users were getting an error when trying to access the page. The issue has now been fixed and the page loads without issues.
