Improvements

Grower Accounting

NS-8685 Converted pages to NorthScope 3.0 and made some improvements

You get the new framework! And you get the new framework! And you get the new framework! Take a look over in the Grower Accounting Functional Area because it’s being reshaped and has a fresh new coat of paint. Many setup pages have been converted in this release.

Setup pages that have been converted to NorthScope 3.0:

  • Crops List View
  • Farmers List View
  • Fields List View
  • Harvesters List View
  • Haulers List View
  • Hold Codes List View
  • Hold Codes Record View
  • Ticket Items List View

But wait! There’s more. We updated the Tickets List View and added a brand new page for Ticket Lines List View to not only be more consistent with other functional areas but this will provide users with a way to view all the items on open tickets from one place.

We also converted and updated the Ticket History Inquiry with several Search options and the ability to view ticket versions as needed and it’s faster than ever.

Be on the lookout for February’s release to see the next exciting new steps we are taking to revamp this functional area and to enhance the user experience!

Inventory

NS-8920 Updated the Adjustment, Production and Transfer Record Views to the new standard

We recently made some changes to the Receipt record view as part of the Purchasing revamp work, so this release we updated the other inventory transaction record views to look and feel the same and follow our 3.0 standards, with some button updates and overall improved save process.  

Purchasing

NS-9115 Added support for AP Invoice and Credit Memo default Item when integrating transactions

Inventory items were added to Invoices and Credit Memos, with this addition a valid item would need to be selected in order to save a line on Invoices and Credit Memos.  The existing invoice/credit memo integration with third party systems now supports the ability for to provide an ItemID, POLineSK and POLineNumber in the XML.  For more information and to view an example XML with these new elements, please see AP Invoice Credit Memo (XML).


NS-9519 Added Purchase Order Line Description to Purchase Orders and AP Transactions

You spoke and we listened. We have added back the Line Description column (which defaults the corresponding line Item’s Item Description but can be overwritten) to the Purchase Order record view, Purchase Order Lines list view, Purchase Order Lines History Inquiry, Invoice/Credit Memo record view, Invoice Lines list view, Invoice Line History Inquiry, PO Linked Lines Inquiry and the Inventory Receipt record view.

Additionally, we cleaned up Item ID and Item Description to have a separate column for each where applicable, so the Purchase Order record view and Invoice/Credit Memo record view was updated to reflect this.


Bug Fixes

Framework

NS-9156 and NS-9208 Fixed a couple of issues with the Default Search Option in the NorthScope 3.0 Framework

There was some confusion when users were setting their saved search options as a default and how to un-set the default.  So, we have updated the ‘Set Options as Default’ and ‘Set Layout as Default’ buttons to allow users to set a saved Search Option / Grid Layout as a default and then clicking the button again will un-set these options.  This will not remove any existing search filters nor any saved options/layouts which will still be available in the lookups to select and view / set as default again if needed. 

Additionally, an issue was fixed with users being able to save a default search option on the Fisherman Balances page.
