Mass Updating Price Lists (CP)

Overview

NorthScope allows users to update the prices of items across selected Commodity Procurement price lists. Each unique item that exists on the selected price lists will display, allowing the user to enter the new price for single or multiple items once and have it be applied to all corresponding price lists.

Step 1: Selecting the price lists to mass update.

In order to mass update price list prices, at least one price list must be selected when the Mass Update toolbar icon is clicked. Select the price list(s) to mass update and click the Mass Update toolbar icon. This will open the Mass Update dialog, which will open with all unique items that exist on the selected price list(s).

The Mass Update window will display each unique item with the following fields:

  • Crop
  • Commodity
  • Variety
  • Item
  • Description
  • New Price
  • UOM

Step 2: Entering the new price(s) and applying the update(s).

The only editable field within the Mass Update window is the New Price field. The price entered in this field for a line item will then be applied to all price lists on which that line item exists.

To update the price of an item, click inside the New Price field and enter the updated price for the item. Repeat this step for any additional items to be updated.

Once all new prices have been entered, click Apply to update the price(s) of the line item(s) across all price lists.

Note: If the prices should not be applied, click Cancel.

Before the new prices are applied, an alert will display stating the number of prices that will be updated based on the entered price updates. To apply the update, click OK. To cancel the update, click Cancel.

Once the price updates have been applied, the mass update window will close.
