Status Setup (UG)
The Status Setup allows users to define which actions can be performed on Sales Order Transactions.
The view displays all different Transaction Type & Status Name combinations and a user can define how they are managed.
To change how the Status is managed, click the drop-down menu in the Managed column and select the type. This menu has the following options:
- Automatic
- Manually
- Note Used
The following actions can be configured in this view:
- Allow Allocated Quantity Edit Of Inventory Items: Identifies whether or not the corresponding transaction type is allowed allocated quantity edits of inventory items while in the specified status.
- Allow Allocated Quantity Edit Of Non-Inventory Items: Identifies whether the corresponding transaction type is allowed allocated quantity edits of non-inventory items while in the specified status.
- Allow Backwards Move: Identifies whether the corresponding transaction type is allowed backwards movement from the specified status to a previous one.

To define if the action is allowed or not, check or uncheck the checkbox on the grid. Actions that are not applicable for the Status, are disabled (e.g. New Transaction cannot be moved backwards, because New is the first status). Click Save to save the changes made.
