Def - ACH Effective Date

The ACH Effective Date is the data that will be submitted to the bank as the Payment Date in the ACH text file. This is the date that the funds "should" leave your account and be sent to the recipient. This defaults from the 'Payment Date' used when the payments were posted but can be changed in the event the 'Payment Date' occurred in the past, on a holiday, or on a weekend.
