Program Copy Record View

The purpose of this page is to allow users to clone Fish Ticket Tax and Premium programs for the purposes of creating new programs or new versions of existing programs. This page is opened by selecting a Fish Ticket Tax or Fish Ticket Premium program from their respective List Views and clicking the Copy icon in the header toolbar.

Save & Close
Saves changes and closes the page, navigating users back to the Fish Ticket Premiums List View or the Fish Ticket Taxes List View. When the Copy is complete, the message "Program [new program ID] was successfully copied from [from program ID]." will be displayed.

Copy From
Program ID

Identifies the short description and unique identifier for the source Tax or Premium program (the program that is being copied). This is a non-editable text box that is required. It defaults from the selected program on the Fish Ticket Premiums List View or the Fish Ticket Taxes List View. This field is never editable.

Database Field: ERPx_APProgram.APProgramID

Description

Identifies the long description for the source Tax or Premium program (the program that is being copied). This is a non-editable text box that is required. It defaults from the selected program on the Fish Ticket Premiums List View or the Fish Ticket Taxes List View. This field is never editable.

Database Field: ERPx_APProgram.APProgramName

Copy Type

Identifies whether a new program or a new version of the source program will be created. This is a single-select lookup that is required. If missing, the message "Please select a copy type." will be displayed on Save. It defaults as blank and is always editable. This field is not stored in the database.

This lookup contain the following values:

  • New Version - A new version of the source program will be created with a Version # set as 1+ the last version #
  • New Program -  A new program will be created 
New Program
Program ID

Identifies the short description and unique identifier for the new Tax or Premium program. This is a text box that is required. If missing, the message "New Program: Program ID is required." will be displayed on Save.

  • If the 'Copy Type' is set to "New Version', this will default from the source Program ID and will be disabled.
  • If the 'Copy Type' is set to "New Program", this will default as blank, be enabled, and must be unique by Program Type, else the message "New Program: Program ID already exists." will be displayed on Save.

Description

Identifies the long description for the new Tax or Premium program. This is a text box that is required. This is a text box that is required. If missing, the message "New Program: Program Description is required." will be displayed on Save.

  • If the 'Copy Type' is set to "New Version', this will default from the source Program Description and be disabled. 
  • If the 'Copy Type' is set to "New Program", this will default as blank, be enabled, and must be unique by Program Type, else the message "New Program: Program Description already exists." will be displayed on Save. 

Database Field: ERPx_APProgram.APProgramName

Start Date

Identifies the date the Program starts. Tickets with a 'Landed Date' on or after the Landed Date Start date will be evaluated for the Program. It is formatted from the user's 'Date Format' preference. This is a date picker that is required. It defaults as blank and is always editable.

If the 'Copy Type' is set to "New Version", this date cannot overlap with the 'Landed Date End' of the latest version of the source program. If so, the message "The Start Date must be on or after [calculated Date] because version [version#] of this program has an End Date of [End Date]" will be displayed on Save. If the 'Landed Date End' field has not been previously assigned to the latest version of the source program, then this must be >= the latest version's [Landed Date Start] + 1. If not, the message "The Start Date must be on or after [calculated Date] because version [version#] of this program has a Start Date of [Landed Date Start]" will be displayed on Save. This validation only occurs when creating a new version to prevent overlapping programs caused by date range issues. This field is always editable.

Identifies the date fish or shellfish are off-loaded or trans-shipped from the catcher vessel to the first purchaser. The date of landing is the day off-load is completed. For catcher-processors the land date is the date the product is caught and brought on board. For catcher-seller vessels the land date is the date the product is initially brought into port.

Database Field: ERPx_APProgram.APProgramStart

Copy This
Properties

Identifies whether or not to copy properties as-is from the source Program. All properties will be copied, with the exception of the 'Landed Date Start' and 'Landed Date End' fields. This is a Yes/No lookup that is required. This field defaults to "Yes" and is always disabled. This field is not stored in the database.

(lightbulb) The 'Landed Date Start' property will be set to the value entered in the 'Start Date' field on this page. The 'Landed Date End' will be set to blank by default.

Rates

Identifies whether or not to copy Rates on all line items from the source Program. This is a Yes/No lookup that is required. It defaults as "Yes" and is always editable.

  • If "No", all rates will default to zero ($0.00).
  • If "Yes" all rates will default from the source program and will need to edited.

This field is not stored in the database.
