Fisherman Accounting 

NS-10625 Updated the Fish Ticket Record View to allow edit of Net Weight

Fish Tickets have a Gross Weight, Weight Modifier, and then Net Weight. Net Weight was previously only a calculated column based on Gross Weight * Weight Modifier.

Framework

NS-10588 Improved the NorthScope 3.0 Saved Grid Layout 

Have you ever packed to go on vacation and wound-up packing way more than you really needed? That’s what we were doing with Saved Grid Layouts, we were saving way more data than we needed to. We really only care about a small amount of data, so that’s all we save. Also, remember all those times that we released new columns in grids and told you that you must remove your saved grid layouts? That is no more after this release.

Note: Your old saved grid layouts will continue to function. Over time as you open pages and load your saved grid layout we will overwrite with our new save process and all will be right in the world.

NS-9620 Updated the Payment Receipt Record View, List View and History Inquiry

Have you ever heard the saying, 3rd time’s a charm? Well that’s how we feel about the 3.0 framework. We have updated the Payment Receipt LV, RV, and Inquiry to be in the new framework, 3.0 framework that is. Along with this, we have added the apply documents grid inside the Payment Receipt Record View so that you can add applications while working on the payment receipt because let’s be honest, what you can do in two screens is better in one. The page loads much faster and the feel is much better as you enter in payments. Not only that but you can settle open Rebates by simply typing in an amount that you want to settle. There are many more things that took place with payment receipts but that’s what the help is for, so head on over to NorthScope help and take a look. Better yet, try it out!


NS-10608 Updated the Sales Items List View and Sales Items History Inquiry to have a Print button and not print duplicates

We aren’t sure what else we can say about this item. We added the Print button to the Sales Item List View and History Inquiry. That is all.

Note: Any Sales Reports that are on the Sales Transaction list view were not added to these pages. Users can manually add the reports they want by using the Manage Reports page.

Bug Fixes

Framework

NS-10014 Fixed an issue with dropdowns in the header of a page in NorthScope 3.0 framework

When dropdowns redirected (like in the Item RV) this happened each time the dropdown closed it would attempt to redirect. This happened any time the dropdown closed even when you didn’t select another record. This now only happens if you change a record.

Grower Accounting

NS-10399 Fixed an issue with Fields Attributes

Invisible to the user, NorthScope was saving text values only for attribute values. This posed a problem with list type attributes in other ways. We have since corrected this and you won’t see it because again it’s invisible and we are not aware of any of our users having invisible goggles.

Sales

NS-9948 Fixed an issue with the Sales Order Item History Inquiry displaying the incorrect Price UOM

Price UOM wasn’t displaying on the Sales Order Item History Inquiry. This is now no longer an issue and if you want to see the Price UOM on the inquiry, go for it!
