NS-11387 Added File Upload for GL Budgets

In NorthScope’s April release we added the ability to manage GL Budgets within NorthScope’s UI. Well now you can utilize our File Import template to import Budgets. See our FAQ for how to set up the downloaded file.


NS-11590 Added Voiding of Checkbook Transactions (Deposits, Adjustments and Transfers)

We know, users never ever make mistakes. As such there is no need to have the ability to undo anything that has been done. But let’s just say, for argument’s sake, that something did happen and someone made a mistake. Well now you can void Checkbook Transactions. Found under the More Actions button in the Checkbook Transaction Inquiry, you can either Void or Void & Correct the transaction. See our help page for more information.

NS-10688 Updated NorthScope 3.0 to have grids add new rows at the bottom instead of the top

Pretty simple yet big change for 3.0 pages. When clicking the new or add buttons on record view grids will add the new row to the bottom. This should help resolve any issue in 3.0 record view grids with adding items in a specific order.


NS-10835 Kendo Drop Down List Improvements

We improved on drop downs internally to make them easier to create and manage. While this may not have a direct impact for our users, it has a pretty big impact for us.

NS-10704 Added a Customer Collections Inquiry

Wouldn’t it be great if there was one place you would open to see all the transactions that needed to be paid. Oh! and what if you could record collection notes from this screen. Well, we thought it would be cool so we went ahead and added it for you. 

Improvements - Mobile

NS-11255 Implemented NorthScope Two Factor Authentication

In the May release of NorthScope we shipped two factor authentication for our Web App. We have now implemented two factor authentication in the Mobile App. Bringing more security to you as a user and the company you work for.


NS-11267 Mobile and Web App Alerts / Message Queue Screen Changes

We have improved messages in the Mobile App with 2 priority levels. High Priority will be used for important messages or exceptions. Standard Priority will be used for other not as important messages. High Priority messages will have a badge with a counter and Standard Priority will not. We will also display ignored messages with a non-filled icon. We also added the ability to print reports when tapping on a message that has a corresponding report. Lastly, we added preference in the NorthScope Web app to have a specified amount of time that messages exists in both the Web app and Mobile app, these can be found in the System functional area.


NS-11275 Mobile Fish Ticket Inquiry Changes

Made a handful of changes to the Fish Ticket Inquiry to make it more consistent with the Web App version of NorthScope.

Bug Fixes - Mobile

NS-11404 Fixed an issue with the Integration Queue always submitting items as a company that may or may not exist

Well this is embarrassing… when inserting into the integration queue we were using the wrong company, sometimes one that didn’t exist. Don’t worry though we know have resolved this issue and integrations are inserting for the proper company.
